Hi I did and they state that the two seperate sets that they send will be of greater value, if not you can cancel, well I received the email when I got home this evening and the pans were delivered after tea, poor quality to be honest not what I would buy if I was in a store:(The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -

No, but believe me i tried. Taxi driver was using his phone to call police. I was juggling my phone in one hand and tearful DD in the other. By the time I got phone to camera mode he was gone
It was clearly a business car he was driving so we thought the guy would be easily traced through his work if not the vehicle itself. Couldn't believe when the police turned up minutes later and said it had been reported stolen within the hour!!Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Well I've had a fun day
Most importantly everyone is unhurt but some idiot got drunk, stole a car, crashed into a taxi, reversed into my car (with me and 19 month old daughter on board) whilst attempting to drive away then did a runner whilst we all waited at the roadside for the police
I would have physically detained him (if not for fear of assault charges) or pursued him (if not for the fact my daughter was in the car)
I wonder how the insurance claim will go on this one considering the other car was reported stolen. Anyone any experience of that?

My understanding (and please don't quote me) is that as long as the car that was stolen was insured, then you should claim of that cars insurance. But if they get the guy who was driving, and he has his own car and is insured on that, they may also cover it.
Glad no one is hurt, but must be a nightmare for you.0 -

Just found out dd1 has celiac disease (spelling wrong?). What with her being veggie anyway and lactose intolerant, and dss having a nut allergy, OH fussiest eater in the world, looks like Christmas dinner is going to be interesting! Mite have to actually plan my menu in advance to make sure people can eat :rotfl:But they can all eat 5 beanz YAY! just checked tin, gluten free![/QUOTE]
Don't know if anyone has replied to this - just skimming through - if you can bake you can buy gluten free flour from most supermarkets, it's made from rice, buckwheat etc and can be used for pastry and cakes etc although not brill for bread and tastes much better than shop bought ones which can be very dry and tasteless, I use Doves Farm flour.
The BBC recipe site is very good for special diet recipes, I found one for lemon drizzle cake that uses mashed potato instead of flour and it's delish!0 -

Hi Iamsohappy, I'm your neighbour:p I'm in Ckstown
Can I ask about the Finest Beef? There was none in my local, so I went to your local tonight, and all the rump joints had no stickers on, is this how you got DTD? I'm a bit confused, or maybe have they removed all the Half Price Stickers?
Anyway, I got a Finest Silverside Joint which was stickered Half Price for £14, but should I have got this for £7??? Confused!!
Hiya
The was no sticker on them just the half price on the shelf label showing £5.98. The beef packet was priced at £11.96 per kg. I paid and the went to cs just saying I was confused as the shelf label said half price and I assumed it would have come off at the checkout and it was only after that I realised it had not. Cs checked and came back with manager and approved with no problem. Even an apology :rotfl:
Did the one you got have the correct half price per kg on the packet?Smileand hopefully the world will smile back

Is your car road worthy or are you going to be without a car for a while:o
It's completely road worthy.
It looks like there is just one area of damage. It's not a scratch or a dent which I've had fixed before easily enough, this is a proper gouge out of the metal. I have no idea if that can be filled in or if the whole bumper needs to be replaced.....
I'll have a proper look in the daylight. There may be scratches/cracks/etc that i can't see in the dark
It could have been a whole lot worse. I saw him coming and at the last second I was able to kick my own car into reverse so that when he hit me we were both moving in the same directionApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
