I went to Mr T and got a Finest Wiltshire Gammon Joint. It was on the shelf with the £4.99 per kilo ones but went through at £9.99 a kilo so I paid £16.98 for it. So I went to CS to ask for DTD and was told it did not qualify and they would just refund my money. So I quieried it and she called a supervisor who said that a customer had probably put it in the wrong place so it was not their mistake. So I had a refund and came home and called CS. They said the same thing and said it was up to customers to check items are in the right place. Should I send a letter of complaint?
you should have said as i did, thats understandable could you show me where the other customer may have got it from.

Well I've had a fun day

Most importantly everyone is unhurt but some idiot got drunk, stole a car, crashed into a taxi, reversed into my car (with me and 19 month old daughter on board) whilst attempting to drive away then did a runner whilst we all waited at the roadside for the police

I would have physically detained him (if not for fear of assault charges) or pursued him (if not for the fact my daughter was in the car)

I wonder how the insurance claim will go on this one considering the other car was reported stolen. Anyone any experience of that?

 Glad you and dd are ok :)

Evening all, MIL eventually came to watch DS2 in his xmas performance, he was really chuffed and it was really good.

OH is working next to Tosco tomorrow, as the nearest one to us is over 20 miles away. Could I kindly ask someone to explain what the cheese thing is I keep seeing mentioned as DS eat loads of it. Many thanks.
  • My friend was a teacher in a rough area in London and they were doing the nativity play. There was one little boy who wanted the plum role of Joseph and was very miffed that he did not get it. He was given the innkeeper instead and absolutely hated it but hammered on with learning it.

On the evening of the producion for the parents the whole thing was going swimmingly. Joseph and Mary were stuck for a place to stay and knocked at the door. The innkeeper opens the door and Joseph asks very politely if there is any room at the inn.

The innkeeper let loose and said "Yeah there is -Mary you can come in alright but Joseph you can just eff off"

The parents laughed themselves silly and it was declared the best nativity play ever. This is a true story.:)

But Im sure I saw on TV the other day that Boots was having a triple point event this weekend, but cant see anything about it online. Was I dreaming or does someone know if this is so. If it is so, will it start Friday or Saturday.

    morning:)

izzeyb, we cover our car at night. Just whip the cover off in the morning and it's ready to go :D I think we bought the cover from lidl a couple of years ago. It saves all the hassle of de-icing:)

Sally, I saw your avitar and then read your post as 'cover our cat at night. Just whip the cover off in the morning and it's ready to go .........' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
