I didn't mean it to sound harsh and I apologise if it came across that way. I don't judge just because someone is jobless and I've been in that position myself so I know its not always someones fault, but facts are that there are some people out there with no intention of working and some of them will spend their time looking for these glitches and deals rather than looking for a job.

And maybe it's just possible to do both.

I was a nightshift worker and would do my shopping at 6am, early shifts usually finish between 2 and 3pm so all those workers could quite easily get in there before 4pm and get to the deals before you.

Maybe a teeny bit unfair to make such a claim don't you think. Plenty people on this very thread are probably jobless and not by choice may I add.

Please try to think before posting such a harsh judgement ;)

Just to add- i work 5 days 1 week and 2 the next doing 12 hour shifts and lots of people at the school gate have asked if i work.Thats why i can get some early glitches.

Same problem here - i work 8-4 and my local opens at 8 - no way are there going to be any left after 4 :(

I work 8-5 and we went at 6pm last night. We were just lucky I think. They hadn't put the stock out, it was all in the back and we asked them about it. They were great and said "sure, we're just repricing it all, give us 5 minutes".

'tis a pity you didn't say this in your first post. This thread is a life line to lots of people who are down on their luck, struggling with bills and bringing up families. I don't think that those who have been made redundant and have not been lucky to get a pay-off and are now jobless without the hope of getting a job would see it that way.

However, my point has been made and I am happy to accept your apology :)

DS3 works 12 hour shifts too, but he does 3day one week then 3 nights the following. He does get to have 15 days off now and again, so he can but doesn't go glitching. he leaves that to me to get stuff for him and DIL :D

I can't remember who was after a kindle fire case but Groupon are selling them today for £12.50 instead of £24.00 :)

I got a Tesco finest kindle fire case similar to this

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-finest-kindle-fire-canvas-case-grey/439-1940.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=439-1940

Sel £12 but went thru at £14 so paid £10 after DTD!:D
