All I'll say is that it will be a month long challenge, and anyone who might want to join in, look out for a post on around the 27th/28th December.
Ooo, mystery!!Can't wait, and possibly join in!
Your weekend sounds lovely BirdieI'm going to my Grandparents tomorrow to help them put their decorations up, so I'm hoping that a) they let me play my Buble cd b) they feed me chocolate and c) I come home feeling uber festive!!
Started my own thread for 2013 if anyone is interested! Need to stay focused and squinty eyed for next year.0 -

Time for NIM and I clear out the old place as usual?
NIM - I am thinking of turning the place into a fireball in one go. Will be quicker than tidying up, please we can stand around with beers and gaze in amazement at our wonders of being able to start a fire.0 -

I love reading yours and NIM's story back at the start of each thread. Makes me all proud of you two! Weird to think most of us (possibly all of us, including lurkers?!) have been here since very near to the start though.
Can't speak for all the lurkers, but I can't believe it's been five years and I'm still here

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a nice weekend
My jumper was a hit on Saturday!I could have sold it on the street to any number of people, should have started a bidding war!
My Mum has told me that the big Soap and Glory giftset is the half price deal in Boots from Friday, so if you're after it get in there early! We're getting one for SIL as OH has picked her for Secret Santa so he'll be very popular with her for giving her such a fab gift worth double the budget (and no doubt we'll both end up with rubbish again making us wonder why we put so much effort into it!
)
OH was in a brutal rugby match at the weekend, his friend was limping about all Saturday night and we were teasing him for walking like a zombie, he found out yesterday that his ankle is broken! OH's wrist is really swollen and painful, he [strike]thinks[/strike] hopes it's just a sprain but I have a bad feeling about it!This is the problem with rugby players; they're so used to getting bad knocks that get complacent about their injuries and get so sick of visiting A&E and having x-rays that they stop bothering to check things out!

Hello - happy new diary!! And wow to how much you've managed to clear in a year with everything else you've had to contend with too
Looking forward to the January Challenge - I'm definitely up for a bit of that, whatever it is!
Has everyone had a nice weekend, how did your jumper go down Birdie? (EDIT, cross posts, glad everyone loved it! Hope OH's wrist isn't too serious!) I've had a busy one. Facial on Friday night which was pretty lovely (a Groupon from ages a go, so sort of a 'free' treat), run in the ice on Saturday morn which has killed my thighs, haircut on Saturday aft and I decided to go a bit blonder and now it's way too light and I look like the Corpse Bride
Thinking of going a strawberry blonde in January now... Then went for food and hot choc and shopping with an old friend yesterday which was lovely
But I broke a tooth on Saturday night and am booked in at the dentist in the morning - scared to death he'll just whip it out
He might be able to fill it, we'll see. I've also come out in numerous coldsores so my mouth is not a happy mouth at the mo
Re. ebay - thanks for the advice. After looking at the ebay/RM help thingy it seems I have to wait another week or so until I can make a claim so I've asked the buyer to give it until then and if she hasn't received them I'll refund her and make a claim from RM. Hopefully they'll turn up.
I also had a non-paying bidder on another item and went to leave neg feedback but the only option I had was positive feedback or open a non-paying 'case' - so I did that and a week later they still hadn't responded so I closed the case, expecting to then be able to leave negative feedback but couldn't. I noticed when I clicked on their feedback score a lot of sellers had chosen to leave a positive but with a negative comment, but then that makes their overall score look good - it's definitely a buyers' website now and as a seller you're really vulnerable. [/moan]Scary maybe, but you want a man who isn't scared of getting what he wants. It might be a cute story but I'll be honest, I wouldn't have much respect for him after cancelling unless there was a great reason (if he turned up with a cast on his leg I'd let him off) so I'm not sure I'd give him a second chance.
He says it was a 'family thing' and he'll tell me all about it when he sees me. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt but definitely letting him do all the running.
Any chance you use a clubcard on your keys as well as one in your wallet? It sounds like you have two clubcards on the go to be honest. Dig out any vouchers you have and see if the numbers match up.
No I only have the credit card sized one... I need to sort through some paperwork so I'll see if any old vouchers turn up or if all else fails I'll see if there's a number I can ring.
Phew sorry for mammoth post!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
