I could do with getting some odd jobs done around the house too, or just pulling my socks up about keeping on top of things! With getting the new sofa on Friday, I need to give the living room a good clean today - uptipping the sofas - but I don't wannaa.
Sorry about your tooth, Lara. Is isn't painful is it?! Have fun on your little getaway! And sorry again for the money woes, Wendz. Things have a way of swinging themselves around though, hope things get better for you
The Obstetrician appointment sounds like it was positive, Dinah! How's Grace fairing this morning? I'm worried it's a bug I might have given her now, as there's definitely something going around at the moment. I've just spread the lurgy up North :eek:0 -
She seems to be a lot better this morning, nowhere near as snotty, although she woke crying and wouldn't settle again at 1.30, and as a result slept in our bed with us, but she slept until 8.05 which is absolutely unheard of for her so I'm thrilled and feeling much more energetic than usual. She's currently trying various crawling techniques inluding standard, army, and legs, head but no arms (that ones not going well!) which is very exciting for me as she still doesn't really crawl at all.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Glad Grace is feeling better. That is so cute about the crawling! You will be chasing her all over the place when she gets the hang of it.
I shouldn't really moan about the money situation as we have savings that will pay for wedding but we wanted to keep as much as poss towards a house deposit one day.0 -
Glad Grace is feeling better. So cute that she's starting to crawl! I never really experienced that as neither of mine crawled
there'll be no stopping her now!

Right, plenty of advance notice since I go away next week. June's challenge. Not a particularly catchy title - Just Do It June. The idea of this one is simple, pick something you've been putting off and do it. This is one thing for the whole month. This is your number 1 priority, but it can be whatever you want. So for example you could finally clear a certain credit card, or shift 5lbs, decorating the study, or finish knitting that scarf you began last winter. The important thing is you commit to whatever task you set yourself and Just Do It. For me there is lots I want to do in my life right now, but the thing I need to get serious about and just do is clear the freaking debt. So my JDIJ challenge is to get our debt under £9000 (which will probably be about £1000-£1500 to clear since we're going to Greece and just had to spend another £360 on the fence and £150 on the car... but we are going to sell the car hopefully in June so swings and roundabouts).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hope you had a wonderful birthday yesterday Birdie!
Will have to have a think about June, could do with doing a money related one but not sure if it will be feasible.0 -
Thanks for the birthday wishes
Not impressed that I'm 28 now!
OH doesn't help as he's convinced I'm younger than I am so when I mentioned my age he was like, 'Whaaaaa??? No way! You're 26?!?!' I wish!
Had a good day despite that, my parents took us to our favourite restaurant and we had a lovely lunch with cocktails and wine (and brandy afterwards) and my Dad got OH really drunk, so when we got home he had to have a little lie down for 2 hours then got up and rambled at me whilst I looked after him all night. Fun!
My JDIJ challenge is definitely getting the hall and bathroom painted. Not a massive job as they're both pretty dinky, but I'm so rubbish at all things DIY that I've been putting it off for ages!
Very exciting and cute about Grace crawling! :TOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
