That's the wedding night Tete! :rotfl:

Shame you girlies can't make it, we'll have to trek dahn sarf for a meet in the Autumn! :)

Glad Poppy's OK after her trip to A&E! Must have been scary!

Don't tease me about crashing your wedding Shrimpy, I'm so tempted to turn up wearing a moustache so you can't turn me away! ;)

Glad you're feeling a little better Cinny, yay to getting the new sofa in time for Eurovision! :) We're trying to keep a low profile this weekend so we can stay in and watch it but have a feeling OH's friend is visiting for the weekend so we're probably going to have to visit him. Would it be rude if I turn up and demand that we watch Eurovision and only talk during the boring bits?! :o

Haha Tete yes that would liven it up. These weddings certainly do get in the way :p.

She is good now thanks everyone. She keeps saying 'bump head' and 'neenore nurse'. She was very brave and didnt even cry when they were fixing it.

LOL, sorry Tete! I forget that there are still several unmarried women on here worrying about their wedding night and what happens; didn't mean to scare you! ;) Just lie back and think of England... and there are no bananas involved! :rotfl:

'Neenore nurse'... that's so cute Wendz! :D

And there was me thinking it was all about 'special cuddles'...

Love the neenore nurse - kids are so much more resilient than us, I always cry when I bang my head :o

Lol you two are starting early!! :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about Poppy's head, Wendz. Glad she is okay. You must be getting so excited for your wedding now!!!

Wow Poddle, I love Lionel Shriver, she seems amazing on TV. Glad to hear she is super cool in real life too.

I'm just working up to a new chapter draft today. Finally seem to have got rid of my cold.

I'm heading home on Friday to see my family for the weekend. Then I am borrowing a family summer house on the coast to have a week's writing retreat. No Internet, and barely any phone signal  Looking forward to it though :)

Oh I'm having images of you in a big woolly jumper sat in front of a typewriter a la Colin Firth in Love Actually! :) Sounds fab, although I fear that I'm too addicted to the internets to actually do that! :o

Depends on how drunk your new hubby is to be honest girls :rotfl:

So many people getting married. It's so lovely. Not that I would want to do it again mind you! It was stressful enough the first time thanks to certain family members!!! (we had to call an ambulance for my grandad half way through)

We don't *actually* know anyone who is getting married this year in RL so no excuse for a lovely dress boo!!!

Wendz poor poppy...actually never mind that.....poor you! The kids seem to bounce back very quickly, it's the parents that are left scarred for life. Glad she was okay though.

We've only got one wedding night do this year and we don't really know them very well. OH used to play rugby with the guy and I think we're making up numbers and providing company for the best man and his GF as they don't know anyone other than the bride and groom! :o They've also sent one of those [strike]begging letters[/strike] poems in the invite so instead of giving them a nice thoughtful little (but MSE) gift we're now obligated to stick at least £20 in a card for them! Ah well, should still be a nice do even if I don't get to wear a hat! :p

One of our friends has just started to get serious with an American girl (been with her 5 months and they've moved in together already?! He'd only been broken up from his ex fiancee 2 months prior to meeting this new girl! Why do some men rush so?!), I've got my fingers crossed for a wedding in the US of A in the next year or 2 since we need an excuse to go back to Florida and we could work it into the trip as a little diversion on the way! :)

I prefer the ones who want money tbh, I always go way over budget trying to find a 'meaningful' present :o

Just realised we haven't had a May challenge!
