They are my favouriteAnd thanks, I'm okay. I just needed to hear some things from a professional face to settle myself a little.
Toyota Corollas are lovely! I used to stall at traffic lights too, it's just natural and you'll get there. I've stalled once or twice since my test, OH does every now and then too
I once got asked if I wanted a £50 voucher to buy home furnishing stuff from a website and blog about it. But they had a script they wanted me to use when I posted my review so I thought nooo. Could have got myself a nice pie dish, still a little gutted!0 -
If Kieran fails, you can take a dip in our baby name pool. Damien and Iris made our lists this weekend!
Cinny if you ever named a kid Damien I'd have to shave his head just to be sureclearmydebts wrote: »Sorry spelt it wrong - Caomhan.
Myself and OH argue over this. Different dialects!
I would pronounce it - Kwee-vawn
And OH - Kee-veen (and he would spell Caoimhin)
It is Irish for Kevin
Gotta agree with your OH here CMD, mind you Dublinese does seem to be a bit more different to the other regional dialects for pronunciation. In the 2 years I lived there the only people who didnt call me Ciaran were my cousins! And this includes lecturers reading my name from a sheet where it was spelt Kieran:mad::mad:I know a girl who's planning on calling her daughter Daenerys, I think that's pretty awesome. Is that where Aria comes from, CMD?
That is some of the most awesome parenting I've ever heard of.:T:T:T:T:TBut speaking of, I loaned my kindle out to my friend so she can read the Game of Thrones series, so I've had to buy myself part one of the 5th book in paperback so I have something to read on the train to York, because I can't be bothered to ask for it back
You daft woman, I coulda posted you mine for like 2 quid rather than you buying one! This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
And re the stalling, I started learning to drive when I was 12, regularly drove round the local industrial estate on a sunday, got on the road at 17 in a 4x4 and at the age of 26 I still stall on occasion. Mind you I've also managed to successfully pull away from stationary with the car in 3rd. Everyone makes mistakes behind the wheel, its humanThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

I would pronounce those both the same, is that wrong? :undecidedMind you I've also managed to successfully pull away from stationary with the car in 3rd.
I do that quite a bit - it's slow but always feels like an achievement!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Cinny if you ever named a kid Damien I'd have to shave his head just to be sure
If I ever have a kid I'll be shaving it's head to make sure. Regardless of its name.
Thanks though, NIM! It was only £3.50 from Amazon so not too bad. I've missed the new book smell, I'm all excited to have a proper book. I need to get out more.
OH won't let me have any Game of Throne names, I almost got Nymeria approved until he caught on when I was explaining the wolves to my Sister
Tete! I bought this cardigan the other day, and thought you might approve!0 -

Ah see for both I would say 'key-er-ann' but with the first two syllables merging into each other, in the same way that Ireland is pronounced slightly different to island. ??Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

That's how I would pronounce both too. Isn't it funny how words can be said so many different ways? We get this quite a bit at home as I am welsh and hubby is English. Poor DD has a mix of valleys and Manchester accent!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
