If we had had another girl I wanted either Eira or Heulwen. We really struggled with boys names. I wanted Aled but hubby couldn't get Aled Jones (from the snowman) out of his head so that was a big no no.
I do like Aria though CMD. Have to agree with Tete you do 'sound' like you have a posher accent than your OH :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Hello
Just popping in after a quick read (debt free boards are more friendly than the savings, although i've never quite worked out why?!).
Dinah93, I've read back a few pages and you said you wanted to try and find a way to work from home. I wondered as you posted a blog link whether you have you ever thought about trying to do a parent/Mum blog? I have a couple of friends who work for marketing agencies and their role is to find (mainly parent) bloggers to write about products on their blogs. I think you have to get up a certain number of views/links to be able to be approached. You can make money by reviewing products (not just by having a free product) and it can open up other routes such as focus groups. That's where my knowledge stops with these things but it might be worth a google.
It's a little cringe and takes the heart out of blogging but it might be worth selling your soul to the blog devils  (closest thing) if you're already doing so.0 -
Just popping in to say huge massive congratulations to NIM and Flower - and Tete if you could hold off dreaming about me until after the wedding that would be appreciated
I started my new job on Monday and its going really well, but shared office + corner desk + strict internet policy = no mse(errr... and no pinterest, no wedding planning, no internet banking, generally none of the things that used to occupy my day!) I also managed to write my car off at the weekend so might not be able to make the meet now as the finances are pretty tight - need to take a good look at things and see where I stand. But just writing that down has made me so sad that I will try to manage it somehow!
Just one very quick practical note on NIM returning to uni - at my old workplace uni the waiting list for the nursery was ridiculous - pushing two years - it seems that you've already looked into it but thought it was worth a mention.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -

Morning ladies - I've had an email from Pinecone Research letting me refer people. Its £3 per survey, either in paypal or luncheon vouchers, and they pay out nice and quickly. I'm sure some of you are already members. If anyone would like me to forward them the link, please pm me and I'll send you the link x:j Growing Older is Mandatory, Growing Up is Optional :j0

My Boss's niece is called Amelie, I love the name! Plus she's this adorable kid who carries a stuffed bunny around everywhere with her, which helps. I know a girl who's planning on calling her daughter Daenerys, I think that's pretty awesome. Is that where Aria comes from, CMD?
But speaking of, I loaned my kindle out to my friend so she can read the Game of Thrones series, so I've had to buy myself part one of the 5th book in paperback so I have something to read on the train to York, because I can't be bothered to ask for it back
Waiting on a call from my GP at the moment, so I'm a real nervous Nelly0 -
Cinny - hope you are okay and it is nothing serious xxx
Aria does come from GoT although I know it is spelt Arya. But as well as that, when we had Evie it was between Ariana and Evie (this was before I watched GoT). I just prefer Aria to Ariana now! Although Evie really suits her name and I am glad I called her that!
OH started his driving lessons yesterday and he got on really well. He didn't cut out once, but he is a drummer so used to separating his body into sections! I am still having problems with cutting out when I stop at traffic lights and then have to move off. I think I am too concerned with the cars behind me and holding them up!
We are going to MIL & FIL this weekend and will be talking to BIL (who is a menchanic) about getting a car. I am hoping to get a Toyota Corolla hatchback.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Sent you a PM TotallyBonkers
Hope you're OK Cinny?:grouphug: (I know you love a good dodgy hug)
Try not to worry about the other drivers CMD, everyone had to learn sometime. I always used to rev like mad to make sure I didn't stallI had real issues with it as my car and my instructor's car had different biting points so it was hard swapping between the two.
Hello NiceDream! I seem to think it's quite hard to make any real money from blogging TBH. There are certainly several 'levels' of bloggers, based on traffic, followers etc. When I looked at mine though I'm technically the same level as a girl I know who has 10x more followers than me - but she gets loads of freebies all the time whereas I was once approached to do a post about Vanish or something (which I declined because it doesn't really fit!)
Girls, it's no use telling me what to dream - I can't make things happen, I just know about it when they doWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0
