Thanks for the links
Operation Lion Watch in full swing!
Star - I remembered that story but hadn't been able to find it, thank you.
The video one made my internet crash (don't know why!) so will try again later.
Tete - anything at all, cute, serious or anywhere in between! I'm also digging through research journals for facts and figures and sciencey bits but the news stories will be shared as a quick and easy to keep interest going by making sure there are regular updates. So if you were following an FB page on lion conservation and would find the story interesting then you can be sure others will too
ETA: trying to avoid googling raclette!

All this talk of lions has reminded me of a Timotei ad I saw in a French magazine onceWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I know, the more research you do into these things the sadder it gets. And the more you realise that people who are fighting these things are up againstDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0

York also sounds good, I live about 18 miles away in Selby, but I'm a part timer on here
I wouldn't worry, I'm useless at making time to catch up and post but I'm going
Beccie, I hope your Mum is doing ok. It must have been such a shock to her, and all of you! She sounds like an amazingly strong woman though so try not to be too worried about going to Africa. And definitely don't worry about venting on here!x
Congratulations Auntie Birdie! He's gorgeous! Is your OH more broody than you then? I had loads of cuddles with a 3 week old baby at the wedding I went to at the weekend and I was so broody! Especially when OH was cuddling him and talking to him and I just melted! :smileyhea
Hope Grace is feeling better Dinah, but glad you had a good Easter. I wouldn't be able to handle a huge commute. It takes up so much more of your day, on top of work. Hope NIM manages to find something that works
Congratulations Shrimpy on the job! Fab news, hope your OH's interview went well too.
Hope everyone had a good EasterI've been in Ireland the past week, with no Internet or phone signal! But the weather was brilliant, and I had a lush week even though I was ill. Always nice to dress up for a wedding
Looking forward to AA (the image of everyone sitting in a circle confessing to lack of achievements made me giggle!). I'm gonna make a mini list for the year tonight and we'll see how we go!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Well the MDF came, it's not as nice as I had hoped. It's more like that yukky chipboard coating than the nice thick melamine that you get on tables. But it's done now anyway!! I'll get the edging ironed on and get the shelves up tomorrow, ready for the big reveal  It's not the nicest closet in the grand scheme of things, but it's certainly the nicest one I've ever had!!
OMG Poddle, baby fox cubs that's amazing! You should rig up a webcam for all of us to watchI'd be out there at all hours watching too. When we were young a stray cat we fed had kittens and brought them to stay on our porch. We didn't watch TV for weeks!
Glad you had a nice holiday Zig
Ohh Lion bars, I could eat about 12 of those.
Not progressing too well on the work front today but am keeping on with it.
Hugs to all x:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0
