I am in awe of both your running and sewing Tete! After my little swim yesterday I could hardly move last night
Your running group seems pretty big! Good idea to run in a bright colour too!
Also spotted this link about lions underneath your vid, not sure if videos are any good Beccie? There are links to a couple of related stories on the bottom of that page too.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Congrats, Shrimpy, that's ace news!
Are you just working out your notice period now?
Tete, you *need* to eat a lot to fuel your running! I can't believe you made millionaire's shortbread on a fast day - that would have done me in for sure!
I will happily keep my eyes open for lion stories
I am knackered as I've stayed up until 1am the past few nights watching baby foxes in my garden! They are SO cute. I'm really torn as I know you shouldn't encourage urban foxes and the cat is not too keen on them, but from what I've read they give each other a wide berth. Though it's a bit more unpredictable as there are cubs involved, so I've given Jasper back his litter tray (blerg) and he's happy to stay in and much more cuddly than usual
I'm not feeding them, but our garden pretty much backs on to the back of a KFC so I reckon they're sorted! In my mind it's like Fantastic Mr Fox (one of my faves) and they're plotting to dig a tunnel straight into the KFC storeroom

Mostly just black ones
I did stick my lens out of the top window in the conservatory, but they're so close they hear the shutter and do little yappy barks at it. OH is worried he's going to find me camped out in a sleeping bag with a bowl of boiled potatoes and cheese (which is apparently what they eat!) and using a special David Attenborough voice :rotfl:
PS. Birdie, forgot to say how cute Jake is! Hope your SIL is doing ok tooLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
SIL is going really well, she's most upset that she's not allowed to hoover (her favourite hobby
) or drive, but otherwise feeling well. Jake's a really good baby so far so they're both really chilled. I went round last night expecting them to be tired, unwashed, unfed and stressed- SIL was having a little rest on the sofa whilst my bro was calmly making shepherd's pie and playing a game on his laptop! No baby stress at all! :T I gave him cuddles until my arms ached, he's adorable!
