Fingers crossed you get a place soon Wendz.I know how stressful it can be looking for a new place.
Birdie - your friends are a right pain in the rear end. They are so disagreeable. I am surprised you haven't throttled one of them by now!
Dinah - sounds like a good meeting. I like Starnac's take on it! It must be incredibly scary to think about being pregnant again, especially after what happened with Grace. Do they hope to prevent it again or manage it better, or is that what the meeting is about?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

It's a real shame it's slap bang in the middle of the day, would have been nice to have NIM with me. I tend to get paniced and not ask things because I don't want to take up too much time.
That's why it's important to write everything down. Then you can feel confident you won't forget to ask something. Can your mum go with you?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Nope mum will be at work, heck I'll take Grace, hold her up and say the next one needs to come out bigger! Manage it better really, they can't prevent high blood pressure, although I did have a 24 hour monitor a few weeks back and I definitely do not have high bp when I'm not pregnant at the present time, I hope between having a plan in place and any changes I can make to my lifestyle prior to falling pregnant might get us to 32 weeks (or a girl can dream, 34)Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

32 weeks is a definite improvement for you. If there are things you/they can do to get that far then go for it xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Grace is laughing manically at George Osbourne's speech about this being a budget for those who work hard. Child is a genius.
Hahah! I was trying to follow it but just turned it over to superscrimpers.. I can't be the only person who finds the show kind of ridiculous but still watches it? I like when they mention "online forums" and I just think, that's got to be MSE?
I agree with Star, write and list. And take your time! I always find I'm in and out in 2 minutes, but my Doctors take 20 minutes appointments so it's kind of silly!0 -
My uncle was on superscrimpers this week
We watched the full episode and I can't remember what advice was on near the end but we were yelling at the telly about how bad it was!

I don't mind Superscrimpers but I do think a lot of their advice is just common sense and the rest is plain silly! What was your uncles part on the show?
Oh, I'll have to watch Martin's TV show tomorrow night in case I'm on it! I kind of hope that they cut me out as I'm sure I was looking very confused in a terribly embarassing manner!
Love the idea of taking Grace into the appointment with you and demanding a bigger baby next time! The others have very good advice, think about what you want to know and write it all down and make sure they answer any questions.

Did you see this week's one? The bit about perfume? He was the expert the presenter was chatting to about the cheap vs branded perfumes.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Didn't watch it but if I see it repeated I'll keep an eye out for him! Thought you might say he was the featured family getting 'helped' and was going to suggest he'd have more luck if you and NIM moved in for a week!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Ah I turned it off near the beginning as the stuff about the family 'wasting' money on their children's activities really bugged me. I'm sure the researchers must just mooch around these forums every week and pinch bits at random! I will probably catch a repeat though Dinah so will look out for him.
And will definitely watch Martin tonight Birdie! Remind me what the segment was about, I want to say energy providers but I think I may have made that up?
Hope Grace is feeling a little better this afternoon Dinah? Would NIMs work consider letting him make up the time by working early/late the rest of the week? OHs work are really good like that with letting him come to my appointments, as it turned out I didn't take in a single thing that was said to me at any of them so it was definitely a good job!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0
