Unless I resolve my complaint with Swiss airlines (would get me approx £600) then I don't think I'll come close
Finally got some bits on eBay but I don't think they're going to sell for huge amounts!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Absolutely no chance of getting anywhere near my MM target!
Hope Grace is feeling better today.
Good luck finding a new house/flat Wendz!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
She's just been so sick it came out her nose, poor bairn is still retching and so clingy. I feel awful for her.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Poor grace. Hope she is feeling better soon. It's awful when kids are not well.
I don't think I will make my target. But every extra penny is an extra penny at the end of the day so even if I don't make my target, what I have made is a bonus.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
I REALLY want to hit 50% of my target, as that's what I thought I could make with a push, the second 50% was the 'madness' that I had no idea how to make. Going to try to get another box of books on Amazon today as if today is like yesterday a poorly baby naps a lot more than a well baby (but when she's awake she wants constant cuddles), then I guess it's time to hit music magpie with almost our entire DVD collection.
I've been doing some graphic design work for dad's new company, he's said he'll pay me the same as his old designer as I've been doing the same job, but so far no money actually through. On the one hand I'm fine as I'd rather he got the business into a solid financial state, on the other I think he owes me about £130 so far so that would really help with the target.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

No no, you REALLY want to hit 100%There's still 12 full days of the month left, something might happen. While one part of my head is telling me there's no way I'll make our challenge, there's still another part (admittedly a lot smaller and some what quieter!) telling me we can make 100%. I need to listen to that voice or I'll just get comfortable with 50% being "good enough". Hoping to bobble past 50% this Friday, jut realised though with the bank holidays I won't get wages from my second job until April
dammit!
Must be hard to miss your family like that NIM, but you seem to have put a positive spin on it which is great! Who knows, when you have the debt gone and are building wealth you might be able to get yourself a second home back home0 -
Impressive repayment of your mortgages (in £/day, but how much in £/hr?
).
As I was saying to someone else, I personally prefer to try Gumtree before eBay. I think eBay fees are ludicrous (listing + 10% of sale + Paypal, really?).
Of course, eBay has a better audience, so if Gumtree doesn't work, you can always go back to eBay as plan B!0 -
Aw, poor Grace
Dinah, it must be awful for you when you can't make her feel better or explain what's happening. Hope she's better soon.
Nice work on the baking - those banana cupcakes sound amazing!
And I think you'd be doing pretty well if you hit 50% of your target - that probably goes for everyone! I didn't even SET a target
Am hoping that we'll have an extra £350 this month (from no council tax, no water bill, 52-week challenge, top cashback, £2 coins...) which I'd definitely be pleased with. This is on top of the usual £1000ish that goes towards debts/savings. Phew.

Oh! Dinah and NIM - what are your secrets for Tesco points? I was looking at the airmiles quackulator and apparently we'll need around £560 worth of points for 2 "free" flights? Would be great if we could do this but I doubt switching our weekly shop to Tesco alone will get us there!Anyone else just really looking forward to spring?!
Oui! It's really frosty here, was so pretty with the sunrise at 6am (case in point!) it's getting really sunny out now, but people are still wandering past all wrapped up so I refuse to be fooled!0 -
Erm, maybe you posted in the wrong thread Cricri?
Well if you're going to state the obvious Miss Cinny, of course I REALLY want to get to 100%, but I can't see how I can bring in over £1500 in 11 days especially if there isn't another free listing weekend this weekend.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
