I wish I was even half as organised as you are rising. I just always mean to get sorted and never manage to find the time.Ninja Saving Turtle0

Hi Wannabee ahhhhhh shucks

Got my annual pension statement today .... not the one for my current job (not had that yet thinking about it!) - it was one of these Stakeholder things I had years ago - I think the idea was that you took it with you whenever you changed jobs and your new employer would pay to it ... but in reality, the new employer had their own pension company that they liked to deal with (and TBH who can blame them - can you imagine having to make payments to loads of different companies rather than 1 ... who on earth thinks these things up!)
Anyway...... it's a whopping .... wait for it ... are you sitting comfortably ...... sure you can cope with this .....
£70 per year :rotfl:wow!
What shall I do with it!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Cooking success
Well ... quite chuffed with myself
Have a load of veg to use up - I'm allowed root veg (as they always agree with me) ... I did try a bit of Broccoli the other day and  ohhhhhh
Also have some long life milk that needs used by next week and I seem to have an awful lot of cheese (actually I may grate some & freeze it - just thought of that as I'm typing!:T) that's use by the week after.
So .... found this in amongst my recipes http://www.budgens.co.uk/whats-in-store/recipe/18-chunky-root-vegetable-bake
And ... I have to say, it was yummy :T - probably not that good for you with all the cheeseso a once in a while thing!
I ended up with loads and couldn't fit it all in the dish I've got for the oven (see, this is why I need a new one!;) 50p fund ..... ) so put some in a little oven plastic dish (you know the kind SM ready meals sometimes come in? Mum sometimes gets them & keeps them for me) ... so I've one to go in the freezer too!:D
Recipe has now been transferred to the "favourites" folder
The *old me" would never have looked in the fridge to see what needed using up ..... like this meal planning lark!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Does anyone need a small diary for anything?
I'd got a tiny one to record my NSDs in but am not needing it now as I've got my binder with everything in .
There's something written in on 31 Dec & NSD written in against 1st Jan (you could tippex them out) but apart form that it's not got anything in
Same as this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2013-mini-silk-diary-pink-butterfly-/200877177766?pt=UK_BOI_Office_Office_Supplies_Stationery_ET&hash=item2ec5367ba6

Trying to pluck up the courage for our 2nd walk .... I've not warmed up since the last one yet
I've even got the fire on in the lounge (doesn't happen often - it's a big room with a piddly little radiator .. that's behind the sofa so it's always cold in here) .... and I'm still cold .......
Brrrrrr - I know if I go out I'll be freezing but the house will feel warmer when I get back *sigh*
Right - off I go!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
