  • So .... trying to pluck up the courage to update my spreadsheets ..... I have been writing everything down in the spending diary but it's only once the totals update int the spreadsheets that the true horror of hos much I've spent will become apparent.:o

I've not made big purchases ... just lots of little ones :o

I think some of it is down to not being able to get out for so long ... and now being out & about!

There's stuff I like from some SM that I've not been able to get for ages so ... oh dear!

Will update them today ... honest!

  • Grrrrr - just typed a long post and lost it ... doing that a lot lately - will need to try to figure out what key I'm hitting

    On the positive side

Have sorted out the Recipe to try Folder :)

Have everything in poly-pockets and dividers by section - this is what I was writing about as the poly-pockets stick out further than the dividers so you can't see them ... it's annoyed me for years:(

Anyway, I was on one of the (many) blogs around about household organising and one woman had the same problem ... she solved it by putting the divider into a poly-pocket too - and putting a slit in it for the tab to stick out :)

Now .... this is an absolutely fantastic idea :T BUT why on earth can I never think of solutions like that:mad: it surely can't be that hard!

I've just read through the first few posts of your diary, Rising, and I'm so impressed by your organisation skills with all your pots. Will definitely be popping back to borrow some of your ideas. Thank you!

I've set myself a personal challenge ... (have posted on another thread but guess I should put on here too - no backing out!) .... my sewing skills are errr basic at best - I can do cushion covers, curtains and pet beds * :o so really anything that has straight lines (and they're not always straight either :rotfl::o) so ..... my challenge for myself is to practice and get better and ... be able to make myself a bag like that gorgeous one by the end of the year!:)

    * ohhhh - forgot I made the cover for the table a few weeks ago but ... that was straight lines too!:rotfl:
