So .... I've been busy:)
- ironing done
- hoovering part done - stairs done properly & not just the bits in the middle
been right into the edges with the nozzle (which is the worst bit as the Dy*son's bloomin heavy!) ..... and downstairs done - upstairs to do!
- walls & doors downstairs washed (get covered in mud when the dog comes in ) - you would not believe how much cleaner the place looks! I should do it more often but it'll be just as bad in a few days
- kitchen floor washed
- garage tidied - car could now go in (bike would need to be moved) if it gets horrendous outside
- found a big bin in the garage to replace the recycling bin in the kitchen - fits much better & I can get into the microwave a lot easier
- soup on

PJs on!;) Big cosy warm fleecy ones!:)
Have a bit of cabin fever today- which I suppose is a good thing as it's really the 1st time ... and hopefully means I'm starting to get better!
After 10 weeks:eek: it's about time! (Actually probably more than that as I really wasn't well for at least a couple of weeks before I admitted it and asked for help .....)
Really want Maisie home now - will be good to have her to make me go out for (short at the start) walks to build up my strength.
Hopefully it'll sort the cats out too as they're still fighting - not as bad but they have their moments .... they're currently eying each other up from opposite sides of the lounge - wee cat's territory but big cat's entered:eek:
Hope Maisie doesn't go back to square 1 with them as the first 2/3 months she was here involved a lot of cat chasing!:eek:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

So .... it is absolutely vile outside again today
we've been lucky that we've not got floods like some parts but ..... would be nice to get outside for a little bit of fresh air (not happening anytime soon at this rate!)
It's getting really windy tooso might have to think about putting Dinky in the garage later  - will be the 1st time this year and the 1st time I've tried to put Dinky 2 in *......
* Garage is really long but very narrow .......... so narrow I have to drive in with one wing mirror folded in , drive straight in and then turn until my front wheel hits the side of the garage so I can get out! (I have carpet lining the walls just in case;)).
Anyway, getting in is bad enough but trying to get back out again :eek::eek: I have to try to straighten up the car as quickly as poss & then she just (and I mean just - think of the bent in wing mirror!) fits through the bits on the garage door.
One of these days I'm going to come a cropperand hit the back as I'm going out - so .... she really only goes in when it's really bad out!
