  • OMG .... I have had NO INTERNET ....... ALL DAY .....

Been off since I got up - apparently problems in my area which were resolved mid afternoon but only just managed to get back online now:eek::eek:

To top it off ...... my desktop pc upstairs has been playing up for months (won't turn on - but works fine when I took it to DF ... then wouldn't turn on again when I brought it home) - sometimes it will go on ... others it won't - anyway haven't been able to get it on since around September . Doesn't matter in the big scheme of things as I have everything stored on both pc & lappy but my internet thing is connected to the desktop and .... if I take it to DF again - I've no internet:eek:.

Don't think it's a quick fix to errrr fix it (DF is pc wonder-fixer) so it will have to wait until I'm back at work 'cos I'd go nuts with no internet & being in the house 24/7.

Anyway .... OMG sorry - ramble :o .... while I was resetting the router - I tried the power switch on the big pc and - it's beepin' well come! I'll need to try to get all the multitudes of updates done now as it's likely not to turn on again when I put it off IYSWIM?

Ohhhh dear .... will catch up properly tomorrow - hope everyone OK!:)

SOT many thanks for the Amazon thing for the Feli*way - off for a look as (touch wood) I think it's helping as they're not quite as bad as they were!:T

A huge welcome to Taxi and lurvlyloz :D great to see new faces and .... mince pies & wine always welcome here!:T

    Hi Rising,

Spotted this morning 8mazon have an offer for nearly third off F3liway refills - might still be more expensive than you have found but thought worth a mention - came up in my recommended for you list, bit weird since I only have the dog but suppose I've searched for calming stuff etc at other times.

Hope all well with you, sounds like all is settling a bit? New diary is certainly going strong!

  • I KNOW! especially being housebound just now!

I just can't believe the big pc's decided to turn on now - of all days!:rotfl:

Security software is totally out of date & needs a new version installed & license renewed:eek: and Secunia is giving a protection score of 69%:eek: - I'm going to be running updates for ages!:o

I have been trying to turn the beeping thing on when I've been up in the middle of the night (downloads don't count between midnight & 7am) - typical!

Don't want to risk leaving it tho' in case I can't get it turned on again tomorrow!:(

Me too - one of the reasons I've been putting off taking big pc to DF to be fixed ......

He'd raised a call log with my ISP as I should've been able to get back on (+ couldn't) & they came back with something to do on the router page .... DM phoned & told me & I was like ... well that's me scr*wed then as I can only do that on the big pc - tried to turn it on thinking it'd be like all the other times I've tried .... & it worked:T

    Just as well but ......*sluurrrrrp*
