Ohhhh think I forgot in all the busyness (sp?) of the past few days ...... have a bit of an issue with the new car (why does it never just rain).

When I went to check / blow up the tyres on Sunday I discovered that it's got the beeping wrong size tyres on it on the back!

Couldn't believe it - was then panicking as I've had it 3 months now & worried the garage would tell me to p off .... anyway, took the service book in on Monday (it's on the way to the hospital) to be altered (it was wrong too!:() and mentioned the tyres.

Popped in on the way home & they've agreed the wrong tyres are on it - not sure how it's happened (could've been a puncture & original garage stuck these on meaning to change them & then didn't ....or they didn't realise the autos have different sized tyres than the manuals).

Waiting to hear of way forward - they're supposed to ring today. It def needs the correct tyres putting on but the question is whose paying for them .... garage I bought it from don't see why they should foot the bill (and can see their POV) so they're trying to get the money from the other garage ......

As has been said earlier today ..... nothing is simple!

Also, it's not rude to ask, it's nicer than assuming. The amount of people in the past who have bought me red wine as a gift and I think it tastes of feet :( I would far rather someone asked, "Mooomin, what drink do you like" so I can ask for posh coffee rather than booze :D

Feet!!!!! That's one of my fav tipples!

Never thought of it that way before ..... :D

Right - must go & drop this stuff off at the Drs ....

  • Well .... I've spent the past hour trying to reorganise the spare room to fit the TD in!

Helped by big cat as I had to move his bed  - which is now totally in front of the radiator instead of beside it, so sure he'll be even happier!:)

It's funny as some people say they have cat beds and they're never used but my 2 ...... wee cat is currently tucked up in her house bed (beside the lounge radiator) and sleeps on her bed in the ensuite (hot water pipes underneath) at night and big cat sleeps in his bed in the spare room (now in front of the radiator) or on his bed in the wardrobe (water tank behind it).

Think I'm just about there but it does look a bit odd :o - if I ever sell this house, an awful lot of stuff is going to have to get put in the garage / storage .... they always say on property shows that the rooms have to show their purpose (as some people apparently can't see what a lick of paint & furniture does  - spare room 1 = study / cats room, spare room 2 = laundry / dumping ground :rotfl:) There is seriously no storage in these houses - not one blinkin' cupboard:mad:

Anyway ..... I moved the sofa bed (although I could've got away without moving it, it's been a long time since I've been behind it and I know there's stuff down there :o) and found 2 bags I'd "lost" ages ago and a pair of slippers (great as the soles gave out in my pair a couple of weeks ago:T)

    VSP - D*yson *sigh*:o
£2 - nothing specific listed on the thread! ohhhhh need to rectify that!
    50p - Casserole dish
20p - can't remember what I was doing with these either

mmmmm - will think about it tomorrow as very tired now & think it's time to sign off for the night.

    Hi Rising,

Spotted this morning 8mazon have an offer for nearly third off F3liway refills - might still be more expensive than you have found but thought worth a mention - came up in my recommended for you list, bit weird since I only have the dog but suppose I've searched for calming stuff etc at other times.

Hope all well with you, sounds like all is settling a bit? New diary is certainly going strong!
