    Good afternoon,

I've got another debt due to car :( Had to get a new old banger and borrowed £300 from OH, however I have worked it out that I will still be debt free by December.

The old car was supposed to be scrapped today but the scrap guy called me and said he had had a couple of beers and its to hot to collect! I really hate it when people let me down, I can only think he doesn't need the business much  Now he can only collect tomorrow morning - I'm working so he suggested I leave the keys with the car and he will put a cheque through the letterbox, failing that Saturday morning when I'm also not around!!
Just thinking of giving it to the fire peeps and getting some of the tax back and being done with it.

On the plus side my new increased payment went out today and I have a pile of stuff to ebay so hopefully can pay OH back some of it that way :)

    Happy Thursday everyone :)

New old banger is running well, I'm please to say. Due to the extra purchase this month I pretty much have no money left, the only thing I will need is petrol.

The scrap guy came and got my car after all, told him someone else was interested!:D So that's £100 back to OH already :)

DONUT MOMENT - my no spend on eBay in August challenge could be out the window today as I bid on 3 items in July but neglected to check the end date, Thankfully I have been outbid on one, just hoping the other 2 get bids. I do have £12 in my paypal account which has been sitting there for a while. I'm actually a bit angry with myself for not checking the dates.:(
I don't really want to pull out with some lame excuse as I really hate it when people do that to me...

    Good afternoon,

So I won the other 2 items on ebay, however I managed to get combined postage so not all bad.

Am very much considering weather to open my sealed pot and use that, I really only do have about £28 for the month I will need petrol in the next week and ingredients
for lunches. Then keep £10 for emergencies £15 for prescription and give the rest to OH. I estimate that I have about £100 saved.

It's really weird, I don't like owing the OH money but I seam fine with the bank!

Counting down the days, only 4 months left.
Getting out of debt is hard work nothing goes to plan all the time, there's up's and down's, but at the end of it all is the best reward ever :) and you might even learn something about yourself on the way:)

    Happy Thursday everyone

One of the items I won on ebay did not arrive in my opinion as new, it was inside out and had deodorant marks on it, I made a complaint and my money was refunded really quickly - very impressed.

I took £35 from the sealed pot, this has paid for my prescription and will pay for my postage costs on ebay whilst I wait for the money to come from Paypal. The rest is ready to go in the car when it needs it.

Just waiting for ebayers to buy my lovely stuff! Unfortunately
by selling I have become obsessed with checking the sales progress every 5 mins!!!

    Happy Monday everyone :)

Gulp, I didn't realise it was so long since I had posted! Bad Motoko!

Equidebt had gone into liquidation/administration and along the way have lost £800 of mine! Moorcroft have taken over and I have told them that I'm not paying more than I have to. I pay by 'SO' so I can prove any amounts paid. Forgot to phone them first thing this morning and ask why they want an extra £358 from me, I can't reconcile this figure anywhere, also I need to check they have received my payment for October.

Nearly let slip to OH that I'm not with CW anymore, but if he enquires I will just tell him outright. It's so near the end but I won't offer the information due to the expected reaction!

The past couple of months OH has been holding the housekeeping back for as long as possible before giving me bill money - this needs to get in my account to cover the bill payments. He then has shown me his bank balance with a sneer like face! No idea what going on, but its made me what to save more than him in the next year! Would that make me a smuggy sneary person!:D

Could have another debt looming but that's another story.

Have a happy Friday everyone :)

    Good Afternoon,

    It's been a while, again!!!

OH is being made redundant in the next 2 months :( and I told him about leaving CW. Not entirely the expected reaction -
was mad I didn't tell him because he's sopposidly managing my finances, to which I replied 'seem to have done pretty well the past year!' Lets just say that went down like a lead balloon!
However, when I told him how much I had left to pay and when my debt free date is he did admit I had done really well.:D

The other debt I was worring about isn't going to happen :)

I have sent all requested information to MC regarding the missing £800. £6.22 for special next day signed for! I have since had a letter back advising me they are looking into my query. If I don't hear anything back in 3- 4 weeks I will give them a call.

It's getting cold but I'm still refusing to put the heating on and after British Gas hiked their prices I should think about doing a price comparison.

Looking forward to getting my hour back this weekend, not so much to driving in the dark!

    Happy Friday everyone :):j

    Good Afternoon,

My missing £800 has been found YAY
Santander haven't told the DCA so they still think I owe it BOO
So according to Santander I have 1 payment and a little bit left (£4.50) I need to phone them and find out what my last payment to them will be (interest and all that), YEP LAST PAYMENT :) :j
I will also request a letter stating that my balance is NIL £0.00 :T

I'm getting very excited, although I wont be debt free until the end of December as opposed to November I can not believe I'm almost there.
I had to borrow some more money from OH for emergency dental work along with my sealed pot. It was good to be able to put some towards it.

I hope to come back after Christmas and announce I'm debt free in Really big letters!

    Happy Monday

Moneysavingmomma - Thank you, you made me blush :o The diary has really helped keep me on track.

Chrysalis1976 - I can't believe its been over a year since the washing machine broke, when I eventually get a new one I'm going to feel like I'm in a 5 star kitchen! :rotfl:

    Now for something odd-
I have been paid and Monday I will be making the last payments to the DCA, I'm really nervous, maybe it's excitement as that the only debt I will have is to OH. I didn't feel like this when I finished paying off the other DCA's, maybe it is because its the last one.
Come to think of it I'm getting excited thinking about it!
