#73 reporting first OP of £80 (it goes out with our usual montly payt - just checked and it went today)

Daily interest currently at £3.12, next two goals are to get the capital down to £60k and the daily interest below £3. Currently expect to hit the capital goal in March and interest goal in Feb.

    Thanks

1,000 Posts Combo Breaker Mortgage-free Glee!
Hi there :). I added my name overnight via google docs but didn't have a chance to post and say hello.
I have been knocking around on here forever! Was one of the members of the mortgage free in three thread, then the MFi3T2 thread. I now find myself homeless for the last few months of my mortgage so would like to join here if possible?
My aim is to completely clear my £6316.14 mortgage. I have 5 payments left. Well, I don't now because January's payment went out on Christmas Day :o.
    My payment was £1379.16.
I am not counting overpayments alone, I count the normal debt reduction too. I run a snowball so that the interest is removed from my £1400 payment.
A very exciting thought has just occurred to me too. It's January so there's no council tax to pay this month. Woohoo! Another op to be made soon then.
We are hoping to get our bathroom done and our hall stairs and landing done too, it was supposed to be done before Christmas but the builder got snowed under. That's going to cost a few K's.

Well, hope I haven't rambled too much. Better get ready for work now :(.

No 76 reporting in with a modest OP. £17 went out with this month's mortgage. It's usually more but we are having building work done at the moment and it's stealing all my money!

Could I set my target as £2500 please?
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

    Hi VoucherMan

No 8 - toerag33btl - overpayment £605.00 and hoping a little more can be added later in the month. Target - £6000

No 6 - toerag33 - Target - £1500. Might need to change this as I have shortened the length of the mortgage and haven't worked out the budget properly yet.

    Many thanks

  • Hello All

No 52 here. Am amazed to see how well everyone is doing already - am already lagging behind and only 4 days in! Luckily I can report my first overpayment this year - £375 sent off today.

Thanks Voucherman for keeping track of all this for us. It is much appreciated.
