Happy New Year to my MFW friends!
Well 2012 didn't make huge impact on our mortgage. Overpaid £2848 (less than previous years but i was on maternity for part of year and returned to work part time) but then borrowed back £2500 to help pay for our wedding. Got engaged September and married a few days before Christmas. We didn't spend a fortune but it adds up. We had a great day and so did our guests on a much lower budget than any of my friends' weddings. Should have 500 or so left from the cash we borrowed back so will make an OP at the end of the month of as much as i can. DH and i are hoping to move to a detached house at some point- currently live in a semi and the neighbours are noisy. Also we intend to have another baby. So before more spending and time off earning some major mortgage reducing is in order. This weeks goal is to do a new budget so i can decide how much we can aim to OP each month
Good Luck and prosperity to you all for 20122016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013
