    Morning everybody

I can see light at the end of the tunnel! I'm in a bullet train and I'm chuffin' nicely along the the track leading to MF-Central platform 1 :D

I overpaid almost £2700 in November which leaves me a mortgage of just £6000. It has become easier to work out all the numbers and figures now the end of the year is closer; my MFII date is still bang on 31st December 2013 and taking into account one more payday, incoming finances and the savings I current have in my current account, less one more lot of bills (council tax, water rates, elec/gas etc) I will pay off that £6k at the end of the month and have more than enough for emergency fund.

I've maxed out on Stressco double exchange vouchers (you should see my finest wine stash, it would have given Oddbins a run for their money) and Nectar points and am pretty much ready for Christmas, give or take a couple of fresh food shops.

I have enjoyed chipping away at the mortgage (almost every day an online overpayment), I will be lost when the process comes to an end.

Will be back for another update before the end of the year........

    Afternoon everyone

    Updates: No 8 - toerag33btl - Oct - £121; Nov - £121; Dec - £121

No 6 - no updates! I'm not going to make the revised target this year.

Hope everyone is surviving the weather without too many difficulties.

A huge thank-you to everyone here as I would not have achieved what I have with out the support. Quite a lonely road when you are not supported! That has changed a little as I have progressed.

VoucherMan - you've been and are a star. Many thanks. xxx

    Kind regards

  • No 100 can u update me on the spreadsheet please for op of £500 made in November, really pleased I've made a dent in my mortgage overpayments but may b a few hundred £'s away from my yearly target.
  • No 97 checking in with a Dec OP of 372.12. Not going to reach my target by the end of the year but we had a jolly good go.

Thanks VM, off to join the 2014 thread.

£250 OP for December, lower than usual but I 'cheated' and nicked some of December's OP for November in order to get to my £6k target before the '14 challenge opened :D

A mini-goal this month, as when the regular payment goes out in a few days i'll drop below £180k for the first time. End still seems a long way off though

Yes. I wondered how long before some eagle eyed person would notice.

It was endoftherainbow's big op that pushed us over.
