Don't give up, small amounts as and when you can afford them are better than nothing, or, paying too much off and leaving yourself short for other essentials...keep going x

Thank you for the encouragement! :).

Im used to OP'ing £500+ but hubby had a huge blow out this month on new manly toys () so left me actually minus in his account so sent the £50 from mine.

Pains me to see how well people do when both partners are focused on the mfw goal, maybe August will be better :D

    Xx

[STRIKE]in the form for update, do i put the total amount i have OPed for that month for update? e.g. I have OPed £85 in the beginning of July and recorded that, I now Op another £130 at the end of July - therefore i put £215 in the monthly update field in the form.

or just put the £130 which i just OPed today and it will added on the amount which already recorded?

I have also made a part of our August OP early, so i will just fill another form for the August update. :)

    [/STRIKE]

I have submitted 3 forms (one for July with the latest total OP amount, one for August and one for June by mistake [please ignore the June one..:p])

sorry about the changes and etc. :o

    thanks

I've just done my July payment - £500. I notice from the spreadsheet that I must have missed reporting my June one. That was £500 too. I can only blame the fact that it was my birthday, and I must have started the booze early!

It did scare me though - I had to log on to Nationwide to make sure I really had done it!

Payday today so #111 reporting an OP for August of £925 please. Don't think I'm going to make my target of £9000 this year but loathe to reduce it yet........ Need that "slightly behind" box to keep me going :)!

An early update for a change since we're being kicked off later.

icontinuetodream, kitjos, iquit, Time to face the music, LavenderBees, Mrsyallop, dave j, Needhelpsaving, elliejay and QB Wolf all you ops are added.

Never too late happysocks. Both your ops are on.

rainbowcattail your op is on and your target increased.

A few early August additions from Sundaysgirl, ecoelle and Caeraugirl.

Thrifty Pixie your target's been amended.

Mortgagefreeby50 target amended & op added.

leunger both your updates are on. In answer to your question - most people put down the amount of the actual op so in your case it would have been £130. If in doubt just add a comment at the end to clarify. I'm hoping to amend the update form at some point to make it clearer. There's a test version here if any wants to see if it makes sense.
You don't need to use the update form though. some people just prefer it to posting on here. Anyone desperate to report an op this weekend may have to use it though. :D Still won't be added to the sheet until the 31st:p

    Hi VM,

I am going to be a pain - we have managed to make another OP this month; bringing our July total to £405.70

As this brings us within reach of our yearly target, could we please increase our target for 2013 to £1000?

Thanks for keeping us all going, it is much appreciated

Submitted my OP form for July :) I don't know if we'll actually meet our target this year, but we're still doing great!

You have inspired me to increase this year's target to £5,500 please. Let's hope we can do it.

We will be mortgage free by 1st July 2014. If I say it often enough, it will happen! :j

    Thanks very much VoucherMan :T

I love this time of the month because I go to the spreadsheet to see my name next to 'ahead of schedule', highly motivating.

Many thanks to VoucherMan for staying on top of all our op figures and helping to keep us motivated and inspired.
