My brother asked a store Santa for a roll of sellotape one year my mum was mortified, my SGD has asked for bottle of coke amongst many other things on her wishlist. My two never asked for anything strange but my then 2 year old told my Dad at 4pm Christmas Eve that she really hoped Santa would bring a dolly in a bath...that was close thank goodness for Woolies.

My brother, then aged 2, also asked for his very own roll of Sellotape for Christmas. Even my mother isn't tight enough to deny him that, so he was a happy boy that year :D

He's now 29 and getting Lego...
Despite the name, I'm actually a laydee!

My 5 year old has asked for an egg timer this year, other years have included penguins and sandwiches.
My 7 year old still remembers when he was 4 and he didn't get a yoyo, perhaps I should get him one this year :)

All my daughter (then aged 3) wanted last year was a yo-yo, I had to rush out on Christmas eve and get one - she then opened it and said 'oh, it's not pink...'
  • My son asked for a full size Chieftain tank!
Wasn't even put off by the fact he couldn't drive or park it :)

My 5 year old DS has asked for a car driven by a reindeer. When my mum said that she hasn't seen any shops selling one he told her that Father Christmas can just make him one! I have no idea where I am going to get one of these from.

My DS, whilst watching "jingle all the way" asked if we were getting a new daddy for Xmas. It sounds odd but it did actually make me laugh at the time. He's only 3 and his daddy died a year ago. It's so sad but I do love how simple things are in his mind. It reminded me not to over complicate life.

  • My nearly 4yr old wants a hedgehog this year...

I wanted a pig at about that age.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
  • A friend of mine felt very odd fulfilling her son's wish- he'd asked for a laminator. He didn't want anything else but was very clear in his wish!

Mine just both ask for Lego :D
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
  • Can you actually get hedgehogs as pets? pig would be cool but for weeks it's been a hedgehog & there is a rabbit run at the local pet shop she keeps saying she needs to keep it in too.... lol
