It is, which is why I don't mind eating there every so often. It's just the snacks that are expensive, so I always bring my own.

I hate paying 35p for a banana, when I can get one in Sainsburys for 12p!!!

He he I know! I hate spending my money on things that require no effort for them to prepare and you can get them so much cheaper elsewhere. Although I am still a little irked at myself for buying a 50p donught when I could have gone to a supermarket and bought 4 for 99p! It is the little things sometimes that annoy us the most I think!

  • Morning Lucy

Nothing much to add to everybody else's comments but just wanted to say well done. Your diary is in my favourites and I think you are doing a great job of debt-busting and staying positive, even when you've clouds over your head some days.

You're a fighter and you will NOT let this beat you, that I am positive about!

You keep posting and we'll keep reading.

    Have a lovely day

I know I think I'm becoming sad in my old age... That or this place has got under my skin and I'd rather save a few pennies.

As they say ever penny counts!

Right to the pub for a drink at lunchtime, so looks like lunch will be a bit more expensive that I was expecting it to be.

Never mind a diet coke can't cost that much surely!

Right I've been thinking. I might go to my Salsa class tonight. I've not been since April (because I was trying to save some money) but it was the only thing I did because I really enjoyed it.

I could really do with some exercise so I might give it another go. If I only stick to one lesson it's only £3.50 a week and that's not going to break the bank is it?

I might even go every other week.... I don't know.

It'll cost you £168 a year to go to Salsa, but you have to have a bit of fun even when clearing your debt. I say go for it have fun :j

I think I will. I've just been looking at the dance teachers website and she does every 2nd and 4th week and some else does the others.

So I guess every other week would get me out and about, but not cost the earth.
