Well after my hissy fit over my loan repayments yesterday I realise I now have a bit of a red face :o

While the repayment had gone out of my current account it hadn't hit my loan account so I was seeing the interest and not the repayment.... But I am nearly under the £10,000 stage now. I had a car insurance quote through from Marks and Spencer's which would cut my monthly repayment's by about £30 :T So I am feeling much more positive today.

But I sat an worked out last night how much I have saved myself. Assuming I go with Marks and Sparks I have managed to save myself about £60 a month!! How exciting is that, although as all of this hasn't kick in yet and I have created a huge phone bill this month ! Although I have changed my tariff so hopefully it wont happen again.

But feeling more positive I've got to post out something I have sold on Amazon today so have actually managed to make money! How good is that!

The next big one to tackle is my car insurane. I'm currently paying £63.40 per month (High I know!) But I've already been shopping around and the Post Office have come back with a quote of £35.04 a month. So I'm hoping to be on for a reallt good saving there!

Hi there. Are you a member of https://www.quidco.com? If not then before you take out your new policy sign up! They are currently giving £27 as cashback on new insurance policies. So you could get some extra money:beer: :D

I'm glad you think it's encouraging!

I am getting a bit addicted to it. I was telling my best mate about is and she didn't think it would work, until she realised that by making s few little changes I have saved myself over £700 a year.

But I am aiming for a NSD today, although I have to post out my amazon sale, but the postage is covered in the cost! But as this is the first thing I have managed to sell over the net and it only went on yesterday. :j But it's an easy way to make some cash.

I've joined Quidco so I'll have a look at the cash backs and see what they offer.

    Thanks for the tip

    Well its Wednesday.

I managed my first NSD yesterday which I am really please about. I'm hoping for more of the same today.

I do have a quick question. Does anyone know where I can get cheaper beauty products? My cousin get married a week on Saturday and as one of her bridesmaids I'm going to be in loads of photos and really need something done to my nails. I was thinking about faking it but the cheapest I can find is £7.49!! But these are tried and tested. Any ideas would be good.

The cheque has just cleared on another store card repayments so everything is slowly going down. I have to admit this is the first time I have tracked my debt as one total and it's nice to see the really large sum get smaller. Since I've joined here I've decided I'm easy to please, I get excited by the smallest saving or drop in debt....

I think I may need help with this problem soon :rotfl:

    I won!! :j

I've just found a wonderful (if some what hit and miss) way of getting a new book. I have a Waterstone's card. I don't often shop there, but every little helps! They send out a newsletter which includes completions to new unpublished books and all you have to do is write a review!

I studied Literature at uni so this is easy and I now have a brand new, not published until May book to collect on Friday! Then I email a review to them by 16th May!

How Moneysaving, I don't even need to pay postage!! :T
