:rotfl: Ironing before hanging clothes up :rotfl: I don't do that and I have a working wardrobe!
It's good that you'll be knocking so much on the head in one go. As I have 2 debt scheduled to finish on Feb and March 08 I don't see the point in taking out a loan for 5 years (or whatever) and paying them off that way.
But let me know how you get on and I pleased to hear that things are a little more relaxed at home.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
I am hoping that it will make me more organised, we had planned to be debt free early next year, but this works out best for now, I only wish we had done it sooner, just spoke to the Loan company and will be in the bank in 10 -14 days _party_ , i am so excited. I have already booked a gardener to come and do our garden, it was supposted to be done in March but had to cancel him due to being broke, so i have rebooked him in and told all my friends and family in a couple of months we will have a BBQ with a bouncy castle, our garden is a mess, it's really big but a nightmare, i am even got him doing a play area for little un, it all adds value to the property
sorry been a while i am all wrapped up with this Madelaine McCann going missing, i have found a website where a bloke had a dream that she was missing on the night it happened and it is really good, he keeps doing RV's and letting people know what he see's, i am hooked, he has a 95% find rate on missing people that he has been involved with finding, the pictures that he draws and information that he gives on his dreams are brill, he also had a dream not so long ago that Britany Spears kills herself on 2nd December, wouldnt like to be her reading thatExperian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

Sounds interesting. My Mum sometime does RV and she hasn't got much, she has a villa with the number 122 or 112 on it, but nothing else.
I need to be more organised! I've sorted through our freezer and realised I have enough meals for about 2 weeks!!but everything else is really bad. But saying that I have sorted out my finance paperwork and it has it's very own file with dividers and everything :T it's the only way I'm going to keep on top of it.

you sound like me, my whole life is not organised but my finances all have there own plastic wallet in a folder, and every 6 months i buy a new one and reorganise it all again, I have a copy of my finance on my computer at work and my computer at home and also on a disk in my handbag, if only i was this organised before getting into the debt.
Oh and with the loan money I am having my office done up at home, i am really looking forward to it, i am self employed and need somewhere to keep all my documents and receipts, and somewhere i can do my accounts from other than on my lap infront of the TV.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

Sounds really exciting! I love redecorating and all that. But sometimes it's nice to be able to spend a load of money on it.
You sounds very much like me. I have copies everywhere, work and at home, on paper! I keep forgetting to put it on disc, although I did stick a reminder on my phone to do that earlier!!
Anyway I'm off home in a bit.... will dig out a floppy disc!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Ta Ra, more than likely speak to you 2moz, have a good journey home.
I love re-decorating aswell, as we only moved in 1.5years ago, we are trying to put our mark on it, we have done the living room, daughters bedroom, ourbed room (nearly completed, just needs carpet, skirting boards, wardrobes, and new light shade and it is complete). Just got spare bedroom (office), landing, hall, stairs, bathroom, kitchen and garden, and office and garden will be complete in the next 2 mths, who knows what else we might be able to do, we are in for a good run, I should have my reclaiming bank charges completed in next couple of months all going well,Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

Well like a good DFW I logged into my bank account this morning. My loan payment has hit the loan account :j so that balance has gone down. The money for my store card had cleared my account so I actually rang them and cancelled the card!!!
For once I actually cancelled it, I sat through the we'll reduce the APR, it doesn't cost you to leave it open etc  . But I stood firm and made them cancel it!! :T And I feel so much better for it, it's like a weight has been taken off my shoulders. But I texted Mum and told her I'd done it, we are going to have a card cutting event when I get home!
So again I am feeling really positive and I know that it is only little steps, but they feel like huge great leaps at the moment.
And on another plus point, the repayment on my other loan has left my account, it's not hit the loan yet but it's on its way :T Which means I'll hit under the £10,000 mark today :j :j It's all coming down, slowly but surely!!

No, me and OH had big row last night, as he phoned me yesterday to say he hadnt put money from 1 account into the other, to cover some bills, but I thought it wouldnt matter as his work promised to get the £800+ that they missed off his wages into our account today, but when I got home he said it wasnt going in till next tues now, so I said they are def getting a bill for all the charges that we are going to get between now and then, it went on for a while and he ended up saying that we will pay off all the debts and go our seperate ways, he always say's stuff like that it is a way for me to back down, so once I got daughter to sleep I took him down his pillows and went to bed myself, he slept on sofa all night, came up this morning to giv daughter a kiss b4 going to work and left, I have left my mobile at home today so if he has got something to say he will have to ring me at work, I have no credit on my phone so I am not reading abuse from him if I cant giv any back. It is like this all the time, we have a good few weeks then he throws his rattle out of the pram over the smallest of things, he has worked 12days in a row so i know he is tired, but the bank being overdrawn is not my fault, if he can not kick up a stink at work and get the money off them there is no need to take it out on me.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116
