I've been very lucky. I was nearly charged, but as I ended up consolidating with them Lloyds let me off  Not something I would do again. As I general rule, my finances and debts are managable. I just seem to spend to much sometimes!
I was also very lucky in the fact that I have never had a credit card. I refused one back when I was sensible (18 :rotfl: ) and was refused one last year. But I think that's for the best really.
But good luck with claiming them all back. Let me know how you get on, have you had much luck yet?Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
No, I have filled in the forms on MCOL (the court service on line) but i am just waiting to get OH wages in the bank so I can pay the legal fee's, it is going to cost £200.00 but between both A & L accounts I should get back £2,671.24 (as of todays date but with interest being charged at 8% per day it is slowly going up) looking forward to getting it all completed one way or another now.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

That'll be a nice lump to pay off the debt! But it is one thing I'm glad I don't have to deal with. Just going to try and knock each of my debts on the head one by one.
Get to cut up the first card tonight, which I am stupidly excited about!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
it's not stupid to be excited about cutting up your card, it shows will power and determination, I was exactly the same when I did it over a year ago.Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116

Well I have decided to cut them up once they have been paid. I leave them at home so I can't spend on them.
It's just symbolic for me! But I am going to make a big assault on the other store card next. I'm going to attempt to pay £100 a month from next pay day. I'm going to have some spare cash since I've cut my car insurance and paid of this store card. So looking forward to getting that one paid as the APR is 24.9% and has a balance of about £433!!! Not good.
So hopefully I'll be cutting that one up around November time if not before.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Hi Guys
Well I am trying to cut down my MSEing as it's been getting in the way of work. Not very moneysaving if you lose our job!! But I have managed to keep off it all morning, but as I am now on lunch I'm letting myself off!
Feeling really good today and a bit more motivated. I sort of realised that as much as I love it on here it's not getting the debt paid off any quicker and actualyl doing some work would! So I have got through some really fiddly jobs in the office this morning, had a chat to my boss about how bored I am with my job at the moment, so we are going to look into getting that sorted.
All in all a good day. Will log back in before I go home.

Well I know I said I was trying to cut down on posting here but I had to add this!
I have just cancelled my Love Flim subscription :T I realised that as much has I love having it (and will take it out again) it's not something I really NEED at the moment. So I watched the final 2 films and have posted them back.
One phone call later and I am £7.99 a month better off. :j Again not a huge amount but as I am keeping a running total of what I've saved since I logged on here we are now up to £63.01 a month and £756.12 per annum!! How good it that :T :j
Just need to get the debt down now :rolleyes:Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0
