Hi,
Im after a laptop for xmas-doesn't need to be an all singing dancing one as all it will be used for is internet related stuff such as playing films i have downloaded whilst connected to tv, doing emails, playing youtube again streaming to tv and general internet browsing etc.
So as far as i can see as long as its got about a 15 inch screen and an average size HD and CPU, RAM etc and obviously wi fi and HDMI outputs to connect to tv a cheap and basic laptop will suffice.
So any good deals about and what makes are good and what not so good for reliability etc
many thanks

Laptops are on their way out. You can do all that with a games console and a tablet. BUT... to answer your question http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOSHIBA-SATELLITE-L755-LAPTOP-500GB-15-6-PENTIUM-B940-4GB-RAM-SILVER-REFURB-/360523897509?pt=UK_Computing_Laptops_EH&hash=item53f0e61aa5#ht_1461wt_1128
Not sure if it has a HDMI port though. Is that super important? You can always use a VGA instead.Hi. I'm a Board Guide on the Gaming, Consumer Rights, Ebay and Praise/Vent boards.
