Hi everyone, hope you all had a good christmas.

I didn't get one single in, I was hoping my MIL would get me a Gok set as she has done the last two years but she didn't she got me sparkling wine which I hate.

One uu - BS Nutriganics serum - wnba, it was very thin and didn't seem to do anything. Have replaced it with a half used bottle of Sanctuary Therapists secret facial oil.

Some of this stuff was amazing value, the Laura Mercier kit includes a mascara, deluxe travel size foundation primer, full size cream eyeshadow stick, full size lip gloss, 3 well custom compact (reusable), full size blusher, 2 x eye shadow duos and an eyeshadow brush all for £12.50!! Bought a spare as a gift, OOS at SpaceNK now but you might find it elsewhere?

I got this in sumer for £50, i love it and it was still well worth that price! the caviar sticks are amazing, they really do stay put, i have a black one too that i use on my waterline. Harvey nicks had a few of those sets for £20 but they went pretty sharpish! The entire Laura Mercier sale table was cleared within 30 mins! I got one of the only two colour to go palettes that were out on there!

and now some GAs to balance it out :rotfl: Ive given my mum and MIL beauty boxes. i'd rather they have the things than they sit in my stash.

    Elemis papaya enzyme peel mini
    Origins charcoal mask mini
    lancome mascara mini
    Lavera hand cream mini
    Body shop black eyeliner
    Eyeko plum eyeliner

    UU:
bobbi brown mascara - I really like this but it did go a bit clumpy!
l’oreal everpure shampoo - new HG!
Bare Minerals Primer half size - i love this stuff!

    TA:
Elemis Day Cream full size - this made me break out horrifically!

I don't. I was going to make one, but I live in a flat with no cupboards etc so everything I own is packed into boxes etc. It would just take too long to unpack and list everything I own. I think a list would be a very scary thing!

I don't have a stash list either - for the same reasons as Hermia :D

I have not made a list/inventory, but what I did do which was extremely helpful, was to organise everything into type, it is still in several drawers and boxes in bathroom and bedroom, but all the shower & bath stuff is together, as is the body lotions and butters (my bete noir!), shampoo, treatments and conditioners etc. This has helped me to use up the oldest first and most importantly, when I start to feel the need to click on a buy button, or notice something in the shops I can mentally picture what I have (lots of really lovely things) and this deters me from buying more. I think a list would have been a good thing to do, but it would have been a bit of a pain for me.

  • Just found this thread... its brill! I thought I was the only one who does this! I have been making up with odds & ends ready for the influx of smellies this christmas...

OR SO I THOUGHT! For the first time in Christmas history, I recieved one lush gift box! Very shocked but grateful! I went to the sales yesterday & stocked up on soap & glory, lush & dove. Cheated a bit, but I know all these goodies will last me until September and beyond. I ran out this year in September so I want to push it until October this year!

Yesterday I got from Lush --

    Twilight Shower gel x2
    Snowfairy Shower gel x 2
Gift Sets x 3 - all containing either soap, bath bomb or mini shower gel

    & from Boots..

Soap & Glory "all of it"
    2 Dove Gift Sets

this adds to the cupboard in my flat full of impulse, lynx shower gels for the DD, baby bath etc.

Reminds me today that I should wander to boots, Lynx is always so expensive but the half price gift sets make it worth it.

  • ALSO (I know I am hogging this thread but I'm excited!) I planned to take all my old, half used toiletries to the ward that I work on for the patients. A few are rushed in, dont have a bar of soap, deodorant, face cream etc and the shower gel the ward provide smells like men. Women don't like it. Once I spoke to a few people on the ward & the sister, she said it wasn't possible. :( I may just keep a can of impulse in my pocket for quick sprays for the dears!
