Even found myself walking out of a club and shouting roadkillllll at 20p (and I was sober).
Ha ha, might try that to take the 'shame' away lol!! Not that I'd ever be too proud to pick up an orphaned coin!!
Sorry to hear about your little girl Jakes mum. Hope she enjoys the last few days of term. :xmastree:little_sweetie wrote: »Oh mossy aren't the Nativity plays wonderful!I went to see my little GS in his yesterday and tissues were very much in evidence within the audience...tears of both joy and laughter ...especially when Mary broke the news of the impending birth to Joseph and he said (with his arm around the 6 year old Mary) " well I can't say I'm not shocked but I'll look after you" :rotfl::rotfl:Two dads behind me spluttered and choking back the laughter remarked "must remember that one!" You teachers do a marvellous job. Hope your headache is better :kisses3:
That's hilarious!! :rotfl::D
Potted 44p today, pretty pleased as I haven't really spent much over the last couple of days UNTIL today that is!! :eek: We even took the calculator around Sainsbugs with us so that we didn't go crazy and it was still double what I would have wanted it to be!!DD did a great job at adding it up though (practising calculator skills and budgeting lol
).
I have tonsillitis for the second time this term!!Good job I stocked up on ice cream and orange juice!! The joys of working in Reception year!! :think:
Will have to work up the courage to go over to the grocery challenge thread and update my siggy!! :eek::oSaving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
Ahh ty all for Miss Lily's well wishes, they must have worked as she drove me INSANE yesterday being stuck at home :eek: 'mummy can I have a chocolate? mummy I need a drink, mummy can I have a huggy?, mummy can we watch a film?, mummy can I have a biscuit?, mummy whens Jakey coming home? . . . ' They both went off to Grans last night and I was sooo looking forward to the peace :rotfl: did get a tear filled phonecall at 8pm because she didnt want to take the acky medicine and wanted a hug (not sure how she expected me to hug her down the phone and seemed genuinely surprised when I suggested hugging Gran instead
) this was unfortunately the night that DH decided to suffer badly with his ankles and kept fidgeting all night . . not enough to wake himself up . . . but woke me every 20 minutes
So been no-where today and got no change, he has gone down the pub but it remains to be seen if he brings me any change (or indeed lets me have it) as its his christmas money
My tree looks a bit more festive as Jakes and Miss Lily took the oportunity this morning to wrap their christmas presents today at Grans house, I sooooooooooo want to go 'star wars' on them and feel their presents :rotfl: :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
