I really need to sort out a sealed pot as opposed to my lidded pot - maybe a craft project to try this weekend?!
You could make a papier mache animal like me! I'm doing the cash cow. The tub we have now is secured with gaffer tape but it's still too easy to get into, haha.Dry January: 31/31 days. :T0 -

Aw, I wish I was coming to help decorate your tree. I'm not allowed to have one
OH says it's a waste of money and not 'green' to get a real one and that artificial ones gather the dust. I think he's just a scrooge (Bah...humbug) I've sneaked in a tiny one ( about 5" high) which my DD bought me 3 years ago when we first moved in...teehee....
Hope you and T are well. Enjoy the Christmas spirit! :xmassmile
Indeed we will, little_sweetie, you both/all as well. BTW, ALL the DGCs came last night...even the elder lads!!!! :j:j:j:j:j We had a really lovely time with "R!ses" (choccies) and shandy and just loads of comical chat. A REALLY GREAT evening and the house now decorated!!! :grinheart:heartpuls That's a rotten shame about you not being allowed to have a tree!
We have an artificial one which I take out and dust (shake against the wall) afterwards. He really is naughty...you SURE his name isn't Ebenezer!!
I have managed to put in a couple of pounds in the last few days made up of odd bits of shrapnel...I really need to sort out a sealed pot as opposed to my lidded pot - maybe a craft project to try this weekend?!
Why not give it a go, niksgy! It'll be great fun. Have a look at the link Bunny82's put on above. Good to see you've some money to put in after too!!
Lovely work, Mel, you too, Flump.luckycharlie wrote:It's cos we are sooo good and well behaved you can ask Sue and Sparky

Very good work, nu1isit?, it's lovely to hear Christmas is coming along well in your house too.
nomi, it doesn't matter how much you save, it'll still be a help in some way and the main thing is that you're saving! Be proud!
Ahh, well done, Saver88, it went to a worthy cause...and it's the Christmas spirit.Savingforsomeday wrote: ȣ2.51 potted tonight
Thanks for the encouragement Sue - hopefully if I feel tempted to open it, reading this thread will be enough to make me behave!
I sincerely hope so, Savingforsomeday! You always need to treat it as if it were a bomb...step back whenever temptation strikes. Apart from that, just think ahead to how wonderful it'll be this time next year when you've opened your pot!!!!! :j
Well done, chupachups! We can't all save every day, I certainly can't!
Many thanks for that thread link, Bunny, though I'm blowed if I can get it to work on my 1st post. I shan't give up though!Have a wonderful day, everyone!

No pottings this week from me

Have been trying hard NOT to spend money, thus having no change haha!
On the upside I did save £15 into my Virtual Savings Pot so I guess it balances out

Here's the Sparky household Christmas tree, as decorated by my beautiful wife, she does a great job every year. It's just a bit scary when our Jack russel goes underneath it and has a shake, the whole tree shakes and the baubles bang together.
I bet your hubby still wants Christmas prezzie's though hun, tell him you're getting one for next year X
