Enjoy your holiday Sparky, don't forget to come back. :D

I did have 90p to pot but DH has borrowed it. Don't worry, I'll get it back with interest. :rotfl:

Shrapnel potted today and considering a new finance strategy for next month.....I normally spend on the CC so that I can get cashback and don't use much actual cash during the month. I'm going to try lifting the cash at the start of August and not spending on CC and see if it makes any difference - either way, I should have more cash to pot :j

Potted around $6 or something, it is dp's birthday in a few hours so I may use some of the coin to buy him a cake on Monday on my way home.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Evening all, hope all are well and welcome to newbies (still time to reduce those Xmas costs).

crimson.addict - so sorry to hear of the loss of your "companion", a big void. Good age though and lots of fond memories.
Lovely story with your bird also.
    Take care.

Potted £5.60 today (1st for a few days, but ended a good week).

£449+ potted now, just short of that £450!!
I reckon I have approx £30 uncounted, so with tin approx £480 and weighing approx 5kg, I think each £100 is approx 1kg.
I'm not sure if it matters with a different range of coins, mine is only £2, £1, 50p and 20p coins.
Just a thought if you don't want to count and you still can have an idea by weighing. lol

Tomorrow will be 2/3rds of the way through the challenge and it'll be 4 months until "weigh in".
I'm ahead of my plan, which is good I suppose.
    Novelty value. :D

I am in awe of how much everyone is putting away in their sealed pots!! Mine is slowly growing but I set the goal at an achievable level - hoping I will overtake the goal if I am careful with pennies and pounds!
