    Thank you Kerry Woman :D

    I need £££ for car ins/tax/m.o.t.

Also, does anyone have tips on a sealed pot for a traveller? I need something I can fit in a suitcase, is durable, and (ideally) flexible? I was thinking a clear plastic money bag, but I'm worried I'll loose all my shrapnel one day :undecided It's not very durable...

    All ideas welcome :D Thanks!

P.S. Just found 46p in my purse. Added!:j

How long travelling until you can get home to empty it SBOWDEN?

    I don't think we've had a special travelling pot :D

I emptied my purse this morning. A lovely £2 and some change. Squash (my birdie) loves to help me pot my money. She picks it up from my hand and gives it to me until the last coin that she holds on to for dear life and i have to prise from her beak! lol. Fortunately, she has not yet flown off with any :) She does make me happy!

I need to sort my room out and get rid of my tv (currently used as a bag and junk stand. Once that's done her home is being upgraded to a HUGE corner cage :)

  • crimson.addict: Aww your birdy sounds so cute! :D What type is she? I really want one, but I was worrying about the cost of maintenance?? (When I live at home permanently, obviously:rotfl:)

Also, I go home about every 3 months or so. I guess I could have a sealed pot at home, and just have a money bag with me whilst I'm gallivanting :D Good thinking!

That way you can't dip in cause you wont be able to get to it :)

She's a love bird. She was donated to a place called Tropical Birdland. They tried to put her with other birds but she didn't get along with any. I've always hated love birds, noisy little things, but i took her home so she didn't get lonely. For the first few weeks i quite regretted it and tried to find somewhere else for her but now i wouldn't give her away for anything. She's really grown on me and me on her i think :) She does make me very happy and is so clever and quirky. I even cried when she stayed at my mums for the night before i went to London lol.

My mum breeds parrots so i'm used to them coming and going but she is mine for good now! I couldn't live without her.

Anyway, on a slightly sad note, my poor dog died last night. He was over 20 so his time had come and gone lol. But i'm glad he didn't suffer, he died so peacefully.

Anyway, that a lot of off topic-ness.... I'm going to think of a suitable pot companion for SBOWDEN :)

Aww I'm so sorry to hear your dog has moved on :( I'm glad it was peaceful *hug*.

On topic, I dug deep into the boot of my car to find change for parking today. I was seconds away from using the 0.46p in my not-so-sealed pot :rotfl:This challenge is going to take more determination than I realised... I definitely need a SEALED travelling pot.

I'm so sorry for your loss, it's like losing a family member especially when you've been together so long. 20+ is a great age. (((Hugs)))
