I may have shot myself in the foot! My 5year old is now much better than me at spotting road kill (well she is closer to the ground :rotfl: ) and she wants to keep the money to put in HER pot!! I know it shows I've taught her well about saving but WHAT ABOUT MY POT????????Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Starnac - haha....that did make me laugh. At least she is interested in saving as opposed to spending your money.

you're right, your pot will suffer but think how well you've taught her :rotfl:

Found a 1p when going through my old purse.
Also I can't remember if I asked before but would it be okay to empty my piggy bank every month and start saving again (putting the saved cash into my savings account) ?SavingsRepayment: £0/£359.00

37p potted this morning.
Have a few pound coins lurking in my purse, so depending on how frugal I can be over the weekend then some of them may make their way into the pot.SPC No:118:j (6) £468.74 (7)

You can do that if you like. If you feel safer (and have the willpower not to spend it) then you are more than welcome to bank and save monthy. You will get a few extra pennies in interest tooI have a savings account that is only for SPC money so that it doesn't get mixed up and i know what to declare at the end of the year
