Sorry to hear people are having a rubbish time at the moment hope it soon passes. hope Mr Dollydog soon finds work,

My GS3 wants to come for tea he wants spaghetti bolognas so thats no problem " But Nan I don't like onions" "Okay" "Or Tomatoes" "Oh!" GS2 "He doesn't like mince either!!" mmm I can see a problem here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Helen, just be proud of yourself that you had so much in your pot to help you out. You can always start your pot again, youve done it successfully before and every time you restart you get a higher total **BIG BIG BIG HUGS** for you (hopefully i wont catch your cold though )



I get paid tomorrow but i still have over £100 left in my bank. Now usually that would go into my savings but i'm going to put it towards my loan instead want to try and keep on top of the payments so i'm not struggling and once i have enough money in that account to pay off the loan i can not worry about it then can't pay the loan off early though cause i'll lose money any money still in my bank after work friday will go into my pot before i'm paid

Aww Dreamer Helen, hugs from me too (was going to do that group hug smiley thing but looks waaay too rude ). And as crimson said, you've got to be proud that you at least had savings to fall back on. Don't know about you but this is the first time in my 40-odd years that I've ever been able to say that :j

Anyhoo, off work for the next week or so and today is the marathon cleaning session....hoping to find some housework-kill to make it all worthwhile :rotfl:

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement, I can't tell you how much it means to me Mr Dolly is really on the case looking for work and has an interview lined up (fingers crossed) and also I can work as much O/T as I want so we won't starve - trouble is the nature of my work means I REALLY have to be on the ball, so there is a limit to what I can take on!

DreamerHelen - sorry everything is so horrible for you at the mo, you sound like a strong person and will get through it x sending you hugs, a cosy blanket, flu capsules and a big mug of hot chocolate xxxx

When I posted last night I very nearly put "hanging my head in shame"....but then I thought well at least I had the money there when I needed it....rather than using a payday loan company or borrowing money from Friends....so that's definitely progress...

Thank you for all my hugs....I'm in dire need of them today....Feeling very rubbish although DID manage to go out to the Bank, Chemist and Supermarket....bought a sandwich as comfort food and I could mostly taste it...LoL :rotfl:

I'll be fine...Just have to get through this Week...

Jakes-mum - you've inspired me with all of your FB selling and I've taken a break from the cleaning to post my first item for sale! It's something that I've been hoovering around for ages and really won't use so decided to put it on FB and see if it sells......no harm done if not

Time for tea and scone now then back to the cleaning :A

Just like to add my mite, agree with Ruth above you're doing so well Helen don't worry if you have to spend some of your pot it WILL get better.

Slim pickings here too until I get paid on Tuesday but I'll try and pot then for sure. Ooh and I've finished paying back DD she had to lend me money to get our cats so that means I'll get some rent from her this month woo hoo!
