I am still on the hunt for Rex the dinosaur at a reasonable price, Evil Dr Porkchop and she would also like Lotso Bear thank you very much mummy :rotfl:

They smell so bad! lol, my nephew sleeps with his sometime and he stinks of it after. It is very yucky haha. I don't envy you.

Sue and Nell - i hope you, any anyone else who is not feeling 100% gets better soon.

I am of top of the world after having seen all of my nieces and nephews in the last two weeks as they have been down/up visiting. Lots and lots of cuddles for Auntie Ruth :D

I have a grand total of £3.40 to pot :) potted some more at the weekend but not added it to my total yet.

I am determined to save more this year than last, even if its just 1p more lol.

Also, more possible good news. I have driven my car twice today. My engine warning light didn't come on either time :D If it stays off i still have all the other bits to fix but i would have saved myself £150 woohoo :)

Martin told me, on friday, through the powers of television, to put all my savings in my ISA which i did, so now car repairs will have to wait until i have saved it back up again haha.

Mishmogs I live near thetford forest, 10 minutes away. Hope you have a lovely stroll, it's lovely down there when the weather is nice :)

Hiya, we went on sunday and it was a gorgeous day, bought my bags of tatties, onions - we eat massives of them, bangers and bacon from the farm shop nearby and walked about 4 miles. Not many people about so lovely but I would have loved an ice cream!

Just a quick one, folks, a nerve in my back has gone into spasm and it's agony to type. I'm on anti-inflammatories so here's hoping it won't be long til I'm ok again. It happens fairly regularly so no new event.

    Hope you're feeling better sue?

    and you nell!

Well the sun is out - yippee - a coldish wind, not as bad as previously, got told off by Mrs Blackbird as too near her nest. She is definately the same Mrs B as I had as an inexperienced mum last year.... who does she think she is shouting at me!

Anyway, another 4 x £2 coins, 2 x £1 and scrapnel. Haven't had too many £1 to do my £1 a day so will have to get back into the swing of sourcing and saving them. No roadkill.

Hope the car continues to go well Crimson-Addict. I did the same with my savings and put them into my ISA last week. Soon be time to start another one!

right-O time to go and see how my hot x buns are doing - never made them before!

I am considering going into town at the weekend and having a chat with the bank man. I am not very mse and like to stay with the same bank. I like that all my money is on one little app. Pop Quiz: Martin kept saying about checking your current rate, is there any way to tell what mine is? I'm guessing i'll have to go into the bank and ask. Question open to all :D

Hello potters, no savings to report I'm afraid (but a few NSDs are good on their own merit!) But did do double hours at work on Friday so that will be a welcome extra in my bank account next week, yippee! No roadkill, supermarket kill or any other kill for that matter; folk are obviously holding on to their money more carefully these days (as well they ought and need to!)

Just wanted to say sorry to hear that you are unwell, Sue-UU, nell36 and jakes-mum; hope you all feel better soon. And hugs to anyone else who needs them!

Mishmogs, I believe you should be able to see your current account interest rate on your bank's website (unless of course your account type has been superseded by newer one). Sadly, my money goes out as fast as it goes in, so the interest rate is a moot point at the moment! Once I am properly solvent again it will of course be a different matter as I will be very MSE about my savings!

(See, I do keep up with posts eventually even if I can't always keep track of all of them after ducking out for a couple of days!) Now, time to be off to take DD to kung fu class and my hefty self to my first ever spinning class, that should be interesting... will confirm if I'm injury-free or otherwise later... :rotfl:

Keep warm and well and have a lovely evening!
