Evening all, sorry haven't posted in a while but on the upside I have been potting :-) . Oh is on board he is always putting his change in, he seems to have more than me as I have teenagers who are at me every morning for money.

Think my pot has about £90 in it and I am very happy with that can't wait to see what it has when we all open them and count the change.

    £4.35 added today.

I will come back more often and post again it's freezing here and is snowing.

    Catch up tomorrow .

Thanks Sue :) I did read it wrong sorry :/ lol typical me!

Would definatly like to join and I will get myself something to start with tomorrow. I do have the sealed tins and a proper pot, but i find they are easy to raid with a knife or bank card in the slot.

Will make my own with a very thin slot. I NEED to do this otherwise the kids won't be having a Christmas this year ;)

    Thank you.

Not a problem, Beth, you're not alone here! ;) Thanks for popping your No on.

Sounds as though you've done your Mum proud, charleybear.

Good to hear your OH is keen to save too, just trying, it makes such a difference. Stay warm!

£16.48 in the UU's pot, savings for the week. :D
Have a wonderful Mother's Day, ladies, enjoy being spoilt. Sorry, lads, you'll have to wait until June ;)

  • Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely mums out there. Hope you get thoroughly spoiled today! DD and family are descending on me at lunchtime but we are walking to the local pub for lunch which will be lovely. I hope the snow holds off

My fridge/freezer stopped working again late last night but, luckily, the freezer has stayed cold enough during the night not to defrost everything. Another twiddle and thump this morning got it started again !phew! I've got food in there for tea for the family as well as the week ahead so I need it to struggle on until tomorrow when I can ring the repair people again and try to get them to [STRIKE]shift their asses[/STRIKE] send a repair man :D

Have a lovely day all x

This sounds daft but I'm finding that because I'm hardly spending any cash, I never have any change!!

Not daft at all Barbeduk - I feel the same!

Very pleased to report that as I HAVE been spending this week :o, my holding piggy was getting heavy so transferring it all to SP...£9.40 :D:D

Working away again next week so I'll probably have more to pot next weekend.

    Yep, still addicted :rotfl::rotfl:
