Hello New Frugal - you'll be more than welcome to join this crazy bunch! I only joined a few weeks ago and totally loving it - it's very addictive :rotfl:
The very lovely Sue-UU will be along with your number soon - feels good seeing your name in lights up there on the first page! Oh, and do read the first post - it's got lots of good advice including how to subscribe to this thread so you don't lose it!
Good luck - and welcome to the fun :T:rotfl::TSPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -
Found a lovely shiny 5p roadkill on the way back from the shops today. DD and I were very excited!!
Plus 15p change from shopping today. I do have two £2 coins but I'm not far off three quaters of the way through March's shopping budget which doesn't officially start until Wednesday!! :eek: So I think I'm going to have to keep them in the purse to spend!!
Was listening to the free TED Education podcasts and one was by Daphne Koller talking about Coursera which provides free online courses from Universities/Colleges (mainly US including Stanford etc). The courses are available worldwide!! Well I hopped on to the site and have signed up for two courses!! :dance: The first one is English Composition and I hope it will be very useful for if/when I go to Uni to study to be a teacher.I didn't have the best start in my schooling so hopefully this will help to get me up to scratch and help me get back into studying!!
