Sorry to read about those who are having sad times, my thoughts are with you all.

Feeling brighter today, seemed to have a stomach bug, but over it now. Been busy going through piles of old paperwork and found a £1 coin in an envelope, so it is now potted.

    Take care all.

  • 24p change from the shopping added to the pot. :-)
  • Note to self (and others, this is a good tip) - don't leave it a couple of days to check in with your lovely potting family as so much happens you go cross-eyed trying to keep up with it all...

So, lesson learnt, and I will just say big hugs to all those who are having a rough time at the moment; do stay positive - even though life has an uncanny way of throwing curve balls, they can be caught and things got back on track!

Do keep us posted on baby's arrival, Nicky! Wishing you all the best for a safe and happy delivery!

Jakes-Mum and LC2, hate to tell you, but I am super bendy flexible and will be stowed away under sparky's seat before he even knows I am there ha ha. I went to Chicago once and it is FABULOUS so have a wonderful time sparky and tell us all about it when you get back. Don't forget to check out the blues clubs!

Anyways, DH says dinner is ready, hurrah, so must dash... 80p change in the pot today plus a pound coin that I found among the rubbish in his trouser pocket when sorting the laundry. Serves him right for not emptying pockets himself :rotfl:

Happy potting, one and all, keep warm and safe x

    Laters!! :D

Just a quickie, folks, to wish you all well.

To answer your question, elizabunny, it was bitter yesterday and has been here today too.

beccah, I hope you understand the quote business now, though mostly if you're reading through the posts and want to quote someone's post/sentence (whatever's relevant) then simply click on the orange/red multi quote symbol (you can do that to 3 posts, no more).

However, if you came on and wanted to quote a single post then just hit the large "Quote" button. Text should come out fine if you do either of those.

If you decide to reply to someone (seeing their post below the text box of the message you're writing) during writing your post, then pop the text on with the words [Quote=person's_name_and_then_pop_a_closing_square_bracket_afterwards._At_the_end_of_the_text_simply_pop_[/Quote] and it wraps it up.

Have a good day tomorrow, everyone, keep safe, warm and saving. :D

Potted 9p change and found 5p roadkill (well trolley kill as it was in the trolley park). :D DD said shouldn't we check to see if it belonged to anyone lol, I explained it was right at the back (as all the trolleys were gone) and it was dirty so I thought it would be okay!! ;)

Just in case I don't get chance later, have a fantastic holiday in the big apple Sparky!! :T
