I've sent the OH out to do the food shop alone this evening, as I'm not feeling too great :( I've been just sitting down researching family history all day which has been fun, I just don't have the energy for housework today.
I just hope he behaves himself, I usually have to talk him out of buying things ;) He has been known before to bring back 3 packets of reduced doughnuts, 2 packets of reduced flapjacks & 3 packs of reduced muffins  (all going out of date that day) before now, so I'm a bit concerned. :p
I've told him to pay in cash, and then we can pot the change...so I hope it gives him the motivation it gives me, but I'm not keeping my hopes up :D

I found a £1 today, so that's gone in the pot!

  • Adding another £8.81 today from the savings on my receipt at Tesco :j which is great because I think my last shop was around the 29th Jan.

So happy I joined this challenge as this is such a great way to put some pennies away for Crimbo. :j

When you click the quote button, what you are quoting comes up with QUOTE=*users name* in square brackets, then [/QUOTE] at the end, you have to keep both these for it to quote it in a box ;)

LC2 I am packing as we speak as that definitely sounded like an invite to me :D

DS is currently in Germany with his auntie and uncle, I assume asleep as he was up at 4am for the flight  Miss Lily got a tad confused (and upset) asking if she could also go stay at auntie G's house and couldnt understand that her brother wasnt going there but to a whole other country :o.

I have decided that this is possibly the worst year ever as we have had yet more bad news today and are waiting on another phonecall that we have already concluded will be even more bad news after a preliminary chat with the family :( I thought bad news came in 3's? well someone up there cant bloomin count!
