My dad had a money tin given to him by my brother for Christmas (Scrooge tut lol) as well as other things and I asked could I have it.
Previous mistake made of saving £1 coins leading to opening pot because I was so skint so this time I save 1ps, 2ps, and 5ps because that way I am more likely not to open before its full, I want some advice, however.
I want to collect 10ps as well but I'm afraid that it will leave me skint as this will probably graduate towards 20ps, 50ps and then the £1s again as I have OCD. Please can I have some advice, I don't count the money I put in at the moment I just put in anything <10p in my purse. Thankyou.
I have OCD too, I get frustrated on days when I havent been able to put much in really bugs me. Whereas other people are quite rightly just happy to put something in... TRYING hard to think this way too.
I just put in what I know I can afford without touching and dont think about what coin/s they are.

Hi all, found 10p amongst the file of post I finally got round to sorting through today. Good job i did as i found I'd been charged nearly £10 interest on a credit card balance that I underpaid by . . . 1p. So they got a quick phone call and have kindly recredited my account, cheeky so and sos. As it was money that was kind of spent anyway I was good and put £10 in the pot.
Hey well done you for finding out quickly and efficiently dealt with. You improved your chances of saving more :T x

Evening folks, just a quick check-in before beddy byes to report a whoop-ish week at WW with half a pound off (not much, but better than on!) That's 50p for the pot but, as I only had a pound coin, in it went, so the pot profited too! If I keep going the right way, my pot won't be able to hold 50K, lol!!
Sleep tight and sweet dreams everyone!SPC No. 104 (oh no I've lost my magic 2000!)
SPC 2013: £378.23 (paid for Christmas, yippee!)
