    Please could I join too? I have a sealed tin and have already started saving for Christmas. There's probably £10 in there I guess? I'd like to save at least £200 :D

    Welcome all of you, I'm sure you know by now that Sue will give you a number soon, so in the meantime make yourselves at home and enjoy saving :)

    About what we do with the cash - I bank with the Coop and they were really helpful - gave me loads of the little plastic bags they use, took all of them at once including some that weren't full, and it all went straight into my account.
    About how we spend it - mine went on Christmas pressies, it was lovely to be able to treat people a bit more than usual :) And 2 of my pressies to OH were concert tickets so I get to go with him :j

    More new joiners *waves* hi to all! Kettles on, pull up a chair and take a biccie.

    Sue (who keeps us all going and is amazing at keeping up with what we are all up to) will be along soon to give you your number, but no need to wait, start potting those pennies asap!

    I am spending far too long on here today but it's so nice to be among friends and it is sooo cold in the house that I don't want to move from under the duvet on the sofa!!
