    What? You don't know?

According to you that makes you stupid. It doesn't - it makes you like everyone else, not a mind-reader. You only know what other people tell you.

If you were suspicious about everything, you'd be a paranoid wreck. You should be congratulated for thing the best about people.

That he isn't going to be given. They're yours to do with as you please. Unless they are of use to you, I hear the call of ebay.

Ring the girl back and arrange to pick everything up. Don't go alone. It might be best if you could send a friend without you.

You should have self-respect. You are willing loving and faithful - you just chose the wrong guy. That's all. There's another girl out there who made exactly the same wrong-choice. The one that phoned you. She probably isn't having a good time of it either.

No one thinks you're an idiot. You were deceived. That's all. Start living your life now - not someone else's lies.

Well, hopefully you won't find it funny when the next person in this world is deceived. It's tragic - not funny, and I think most people will see it like that.

You will, but not for long. Give yourself time, enough time - but you're a single girl now.

I think thats whats making me feel worse. I know i have to start again and it scares me. I had always hoped id get married and have kids (i know im only 29 but the friends i have are all in relationships) and now i just feel like its not going to happen.

I know im just feeling sorry for myself right now i just don't know how im going to get through it. I know i will eventually but at the moment it hurts like hell

Buddiebabe, what a terrible shock, you poor poor thing.

You're definitely better off without that man if he can't be honest with you or the other woman. You probably don't feel like it now but plan some nice things to do to take your mind off the pain, and it will get better.

Now you're free to live your life for yourself instead of being on hold for someone else. I hope you get a good night's sleep and keep on posting here, your virtual friends will be thinking of you.

You no more "have to start again" in the world of relationships then you will "have to start again" in the world of work just because you came home tonight.

Oooh! Ancient! Was the world all black and white when you were a kid?

You have plenty of time - more than a decade. Don't waste even a blink of an eye worrying about that. The fact is, you have no ties, so you can do what you want to without thinking of someone else, or arranging child-care or anything like that. Just remember that.

It will hurt. It will feel like you wasted the last few years because it could never have worked. But it will get better - promise.

It's natural to feel that way about kids and marriage, but you are still very young. You need to have kids with the right man, someone who will be there with you through every stage in their lives. Not someone who 'works' away and treats you like this.

I have a friend who is desperate for kids, she's 35 so a little older than you. She is in a terrible relationship, even she knows it, but she's hanging on to it just in case he gives the go-ahead for the kids (which will never happen). I keep telling her that every day she stays is another day she isn't meeting Mr happy family. She is wasting her life and that's hard to watch.

So, sorry if I am repeating myself, your job is to get yourself healed from this relationship and go out and find the man who will give you what you want from life. Because when you find him you will be thanking the heavens you didn't have children with a lying deceitful scumpot, who would be as detached from his children as he has been from you for 5 years.

    The selfish pr*ck.

Buddiebabe, just wanted to say I'm so sorry for what has happened, no-one will laugh at you (and if they do, it says more about them than you). I wish I knew what to say to make you feel better, but only time will do that, so give yourself plenty of it, don't be too hard on yourself and take care xxx
