i have seen in a few newspaers online,don't even think its on the sains homepage - you do have to look around.
there was even someone on ebay selling the info for £1 - ad was something along the lines of - the most wanted bag will be available from a high street retailer on wed....

Depends where in Essex you are. From memory here you are:
Barkingside, Chase Lane, Ilford, Stanway, Springfield, Brentwood, Rayleigh Weir, Hornchurch, Braintree, Chadwell Heath, Southend, Romford ,
Chafford Hundred, Basildon, Harlow, Ongar, Loughton

Now the big reusable gussetted bags with woven handles that Sainsburys sell are good. Much better than their 'bag for life' bags as being gussetted and standing flat they are much easier to pack.

If Sainsburys were really on the ball they'd do what the French supermarket Champion do. They sell these large bags like the Sainsbury one but instead in four different bright colours each with a design in white outline such as flower, leaf etc. The supermarket logo is very discreet. Trust the French to come up with a chic carrier bag!!!

My girlfriend got 3 of these from her college put them all on ebay got a nice bit of cash for them as well.......now she wants one i hope i can get one from the london stores!

I have 4 of the Champion bags - one in each colour and have been using them in Tesco or Sainsbury every week for the last 2 years since I bought them in France. I am often asked where I got them from because, as you say, they do look rather chic. They only cost 0.5 euros each and are still going strong. I even took a couple of them on holiday last year to use as family sized beach bags. They must have saved me from using hundreds of carrier bags by now.

Am tempted to nip down in the morning and try my luck in getting one (not to sell on, just to probably put in a cupboard and forget about) so to me this bag just defeats the object as is anyone actually going to use it?!
