They may be making large amounts on ebay at the moment but I roughly calculate that there is around 300 shops on the list, each with 30 bags. This makes around 10,000 bags! Not so limited as the amount that was available on the website. I can't see those prices lasting. Who would pay that much for a shopping bag. You wouldn't be happy if milk, eggs, fish etc went all over it!

This is true. Half will probably end up on ebay and the price wil plummet. Still going to try to get one though :D . And do they hand the tickets out as you go through the doors when they open??

I've tried to download the storelist but not working. Can anyone tell me if the Braehead store in glasgow is on the list?

    Only Drumchapel and Kirkintilloch.

And yes I will probably be there at 8am to try and get one!

At least they are restricted to one per customer which should hamper the ebayers to get maybe a couple if they take a partner or they have lots of Sainsburys in range.

    Actually, according to this:

Sainsburys will have 20,000 bags to sell out of 30,000 originally produced. I'm sure the Ebay price will drop - it will be interesting to see.
  • yeahh all my local sainsburys have them!!! wooo!! there are like 5 close to me and they all have them1 :)

Do you think the Sainsburys version of the bag , will have "sainsburys" printed on it - so its probably not as desirable as the "real" version thats selling for $$$$$ on ebay.

I managed to get hold of 3 when they firsy went on sale a few weeks a go - 1st one sold for £65 but 2nd one only went for £45... the ebay prices are dropping off and it remains to be seen whether they'll go up again or not when all those people who'd been holding out for one manage to get one or not iyswim!! btw, paid £15 each for mine by the time I'd paid the webiste rate of £10 each plus postage - still... can't complain!!;)
Happiness is not getting what you want - it's wanting what you have :D
