Limited Edition designer shopping bag on sale ONE DAY ONLY at Sainsburys 25th April

The staff are not allowed to jump the queue and get one, they would have to go for their lunch break tojoin the queue to try to get one of the 30.

There has been a three page document release to the relevant stores detailing the strict procedure to follow for the sale of these bags.

My mum mentioned them weeks ago..If I had known I would of tried for one on the website..I just thought they would be widely available in sainsburys.How gutted my mum will be as she gets back from her hols wednesday night....

I have read all about them, and thought too that they were going to be in every saisnbury's. If I had known they were online I would have ordered one. Apparently it sold out within 2 hours. Very tempted to go on wednesday, but our Sainsbury's have 2 entrances, knowing my luck, I will be queing at the wrong entrance, and they will open the other doors.

I am getting stressed thinking if I really want one or not ha ha..It says there will be more released in the summer...Don't know if to go early and get one or just go at 8am and see if I get lucky

My local sainsburys said that they will actually recieve 50 bags but 20 will be reserved for staff, with 30 going on sale to the public and they expect to have sold out of them by 8.30am possibly 8.15am, they have already heard that other stores have had people asking to put them on lists (which they are not meant to be doing but apparantly some stores are) and also staff in other stores getting friends one.
They have said it is one per customer.

Apparently all sainsbury stores have changed the time to 8PM!!!!! Honest :whistle:

I have just been told that staff are not allowed to have them. It is only if they are in the queue out of uniform. If your local store is doing that, then talk to Head Office.

Vital piece of info everyone has forgotton - where will they be located for sale ? - at the checkouts ? aisles ? which aisle ?
30 per store is nothing will be sold in minutes - great PR for sainsburys !

I'm amazed at the amount of frowns I get when I say "no thanks" I've already got a bag with me in shops, and I then put the items in my own bag (along with the receipt!!!) ... there should be an incentive for NOT using plastic bags not suspicion
