We Are What We Do, the company who are selling these will have another batch at the beginning of July, keep looking at their site to register.

jap - I wish I'd bought all 4 when I was there recently, only have the pink one!

I just wish our supermarkets would bite the bullet and stop issuing bags altogether like the French, we'd soon get used to it and if they all did it together then I doubt they'd lose customers. Forget all these half measures like 'green points' (Tesco). That just seems to cause confusion for the staff in my experience!

I was in sainsburys yesterday and the checkout girl was packing everyones items (in basket only cashier) - it was taking so long, but maybe this is a new policy for everyone to stop taking more bags than necessary. But saying this i re use my plastic carrier bags as bin liners in study/bedroom/bathroom/kitchen bins - so if i wasn't using carriers i would probably be buying some other kind of plastic bag.

Here is a link but you can't see the front of the bags. This must have been a previous range as the colours now are brighter and lighter (summer?). Mine is pink with a white flower motif. It's the same size as the Sainsbury super shopper.

I agree - they look much better in real life than in the picture (maybe the picture is of a prototype or something) - in fact in the picture they look like shiny paper bags, but in real life are strong woven plastic with propper woven fabric handles. Each colour has a different white motif on. Maybe I will get a load on my next trip to France and Ebay them!

Make sure you check the store tat u r planning to visit opening times. As have noticed the site says 8am, but some of the stores open at 7 - 730am. As it is limited to one a customer, you could easliy plan to visit a opening at, 7am, then 730am, then 8am. Depending on how close the stores r.
Unless no matter the opening time, all the stores r selling them at 8am on the dot.

  • I plan to go tomorrow morning to my nearest one in Kent as I'm working from home tomorrow, well via the queue and a Blackberry! I'm just thinking what if i get there say 7.00am and have to stand like a muppet on my own til 8.00am?! Does anyone know how many people sainsburys are expecting?
