PCN West Quay Retail park

pah, beaten to it.
you can happily ignore Britannia (assuming your 'PCN' is a Parking Charge Notice, right?)
Hi
Don't know if anyone will read this but unfortunately I have picked up one of these parking tickets yesterday after parking outside McDonalds in the West Quay Car Park in Southampton. Apparently it's a private car park (administered by Britannia Parking) but signs indicating this are quite frankly pathetic and not at all obvious and I've never had to pay to park at a McDonalds ever!!
I see in the earlier threads it says to ignore the ticket but doesn't make it clear whether it's for a private car or a company car. It's just that I was driving a company car - does it make any difference and if so why?

Getting conflicting advice now!!
I was issued with a PCN ticket placed on my windscreen.
Some are saying appeal using a template letter requesting a POPLA code as it is a company car.
Some are saying just ignore it and eventually they'll just drop it.
Thanks for all help so far

We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I recently stopped with a colleague at a Starbucks (in a Next Store) at the West Quay Retail park. We used the Free Wifi and made a few calls and came back to a PCN?
We did a quick look round and could only see one real clear which was behind me, nothing in front of me and nothing that stood out walking to Starbucks from where the vehicle was left.
I have have paid this due to the fact as a company car driver we are liable to pay any fines and costs from the leasing company, therefore if we don't pay...we get hit pretty hard.
I ended up paying the £70 invoice however this is by no means proportionate to the actual fee I would have paid to park and I have since sent a letter suggesting I will pursue claiming the costs and fees back via HM Courts & Tribunals Services Money Claim Online if payment is not received.
Britannia have since refused to let me have a copy of the sign map and the sign orientation to where the vehicle was left and I'm now at my wits end and they have suggested the case is closed and I'm fee to pursue?
Any Next action advice would be well received!0 -

1. You should have read current threads. This one is from 2012!
2. You should have appealed it - things changed in late 2012.
3. Appeal them next time (see my post above which tells you where to look).
4. Too late now. Should never have paid. The top thread on the forum (one click away) tells company car drivers when to appeal and how to win. EVERY TIME.
5. The case is closed. You would have to launch a small claim to get your money back. You've been mugged.
6. Please just do the one click needed to read what you should have done...top thread on page one. One click away. My signature even tells you where to click.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
