My savings have been hit the last couple of months unfortunately with car service and MOT as well as paying back my parents for the money they lent me for a new kitchen. About £560 of that left to go then I will be able to boost my savings a bit!Kitchen Debt - 2820/260Save £12k in 2013 #060: 1293.24/3000MFW: 88760.00/85000.00 (4.24% paid)0

I'm declaring £250 for May. I usually declare nearer the end of the month but any extra pennies will go to clear the CC. Hoping that next month is better. It should be as I don't need shoes or coffee!

While trying to sort this out I came across some old share certificates I have with Mr T which I had forgotten about. I looked on the website and discovered that all my dividends have been reinvested in shares and I now have over 200 of them. If I sold them it would boost my savings a lot, but I'm still undecided what to do. Still it was a nice surprise.
If they're not in a S&S ISA wrapper, that's another thing you can look into too

£2300 added to my total making me cross the £10,000 mark! Happy days! £300 of which went into my first direct Regular Saver! Hopefully, as my salary has now been paid into my first direct account i should hopefully get my joining incentive of £125 to additionally add in!
Good Luck everyone and happy saving!

Good morning,
May seems to be a month of surprises for a lot of people here
. I have just looked at my accounts and Santander have paid me another £21.61 in interest on my cash ISA.
Will go and throw some serious money into my mortgage at lunchtime whereafter I can make an assessment if there is any money left to add to the savings pot this month. After that I plan to put a serious word in to the whoever regulates the weather. We could do with some warmth and sunshine
:D:D!
