Great plan and so pleased OH work is going well and more importantly congratulations on the new job. Hope it is going well? Make sure you keep us updated on how it is all going?

i know its gone so fast. i wish i was able to have longer off...but couldnt turn down the oppurtunity to go to a job i like rather than going back to a job i hated.
its doing well. hubs has been round this week which has been good as its eased me in. ive been dropping Twinklet at the childminer in the morning and hes been picking her up. so got my morning routine sorted....next week he is back to work so ill be doing it all next weekall about organisation
ive got my spreadhseets back up and running now so can focus on my finaces again. while on mat leave everything was just minimal so didnt need them.

oops!
also forgot i owed my mum £64. will add that to my sig.
ive paid £14 to her today and £5 onto my card. i know the credit card is charging me interest that my mum doesnt, but id rather she has the money back soon rather than later.
doing ok spendwise,- have bought some tickets for things for me and hubs through out the year. but that has come out of money he gave me last week (now he has started to contribute the house) so means we have nice things to look forward to. tickets are for good food show which will be our anniversary weekend away and a festival which is a day thing in june. yes it is an unecessary spend but its nice to be able to chip at debt, save (for unexpected things), and have a nicer life as well. its all relative isnt itFacing up to things - nov 2012 total 9334.95

so ive set up twinklets savings so that half of the child benifit a month will go to her savings. this will be a savings pot to be used to buy her things oand on days out kind of thing so that we can do family stuff.
i know i should be saving for her future, but i think haveing the money there to spend on her at the moment is important. any money people give her as presents will also go in to this savings.Facing up to things - nov 2012 total 9334.95

not much to update as just gettin gby untl the end of the month. its getting clsoer though.
pay day will be a good feeling to be back earning a proper wage rather than maternity pay, and to be able to make decent payment to my card rather than just the min payment.Facing up to things - nov 2012 total 9334.95

so valtentines came and went but we treated our selves to a posh night out. we save up for it and justified that we hadnt had a posh night out since January 5th 2013...the night before we found out i was pregnant.
so we went to loch fyne and had such a nice night. it was lovely being all dressed up and out on our own but was very weird gettgin home & Twinklet not being there and waking up to silence.
back to scrimping now though.
going away in a few weeks for my birthday but taht is all paid for. we will eb atking our own food so will do an aldi shop the morning we go and keep costs down as much as possibleFacing up to things - nov 2012 total 9334.95

so got my credit card statement yesterday and im paying £53 pm interest. This displeased me. so i have taken a new halifax credit card to balance transfer. 0% for 28m. that takes me nicely up to my dfd so no excuses now. its not going up & atleast my payments each month (which will be more than mibn payment from next friday now im back at work) will be bringing it down nicely.
easer to manage as well that way isnt it
i know there is a fee, but its a easier ht to take than it keep going up every month. its heart wrenching when you dont spend on oit...eyt it goes up. and i know thats the crack with debt. its just rubbish. i so cant wait to be debt freeFacing up to things - nov 2012 total 9334.95

Well done LL on transferring to a 0%. I know what you mean about it getting you down, but hey you moved it so from next month it will be going down the amount you pay - how great is that?2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
